Just got it working. It really was as easy as plugging it into the wall and a USB port. I immediately deleted a couple of pre-installed files - don't need 'em. Right now I'm backing up a bunch of video files that I would hate to lose. FWIW I'm using it with an HP Z640 Workstation running Windows 10. 5 |

Drive comes with software for managing it on Windows and (I think) Apple, but I deleted the partition(s), threw a BTRFS on it, and it was happy as a clam. 5 |

Way, way better than the Wacom tablet I purchased several years ago. This is the first time I have been comfortable using a touch tablet instead of a mouse. Installation is a bit tricky if you have used an older Wacom tablet before. Not only must it be uninstalled, but the old driver must be deleted and any old .exe files referencing tablet must be deleted as well. 5 |

At first I tried out the Media Mod for my Hero 8 Black, but I was not impressed with having to remove it from the mod every time, to change the battery. I then ordered the GoPro Mic adapter. Works perfect, and with the SmallRig cage changing batteries is fast and easy. Highly recommend. 5 |

If you want to use a third party mic with a Hero 9, you need the Media Mod for Hero 9. This adapter does not work with the Hero 9 as of this moment, unless you have the Media Mod, which means that you don't need to buy this, because the Media Mod already has a 3.5mm port for your external microphones. I received a message from GoPro support by email, where they clearly said that this adapter requires the media mod. Which is contradicting to the purpose of the media mod. If you have the media mod, you don't need this adapter. 5 |
