Ace Hardware Universal Garage Door Remote

I bought this for garage door openers.

I have 3. One in my garage one in my foyer(vaulted) one in our bedroom. Working outside with garage door open is fantastic.

Because I was using one of these I don't have to replace my Garage Door Opener because it got fried!I just have to replace the cube for less than $.

Ace Hardware sells an on/off toggle switch you can use with this. Plugs right into your monster circuit breaker ;-). I could have wired an in line on off switch but for that price, I'll have another beer, lol. As for the rest this item, can't really be beat for the price anywhere. Unless you start spending over 1k this is the ticket.

I’ve had an issue where my garage pad kept draining all the batteries I’ve used until I put these in. So far it’s been a month and the garage still works well and I’ve had no issues with the battery life! Overall, I’m very pleased.

I am in the garage door business and when I install new garage door openers I add a surge protector so the circuit board is not damaged from lightning or a power surge. These Belkin one outlet Surge-cubes are just the right thing for my work. They are self mounting with the plug, they are small, and they don't cover the other outlet.

Great quality yet not too heavy. This worked perfectly to provide a ramp in and out of the door from garage to backyard. No more lifting the grill or dolly thru the doorway. Stands up for ease of not in use to keep handy. Recommend.

I just replaced a RAYOVAC 9V alkaline battery in the garage door opener keypad. It still worked, but was not 100% reliable. It survived at least 6 harsh Canadian winters and some really hot weather too. I only hope the new one I am using now will last just as long. Not for the cost, but I hate opening that battery compartment.
