Ace Hardware Window Air Conditioner Covers

Now I can use my window mount and Bogan tripod without switching hardware.

Ace Hardware sells an on/off toggle switch you can use with this. Plugs right into your monster circuit breaker ;-). I could have wired an in line on off switch but for that price, I'll have another beer, lol. As for the rest this item, can't really be beat for the price anywhere. Unless you start spending over 1k this is the ticket.

This speakerphone is very clear on both ends. Was able to hear the other person speaking clearly even when my portable air conditioner was running in the room.

As always B&H was very quick to send the package out and it was what we ordered no problem. Our only problem is that the air conditioner is apparently too loud for even this windscreen to totally block the noise. It does a much better job but the mic is apparently extremely sensitive to all sound.

I got this because during the hot months I can't run my air conditioner and computer at the same time due to neighborhood brownouts. If I turn the air conditioner off the computer overheats. This covers the outtages so I can work in comfort without unexpectedly rebooting every few minutes. Thanks!

Electrical power spikes occur for many reasons and your sensitive electronics won't survive unless you have a quality surge suppressor. It's primary advantage to me is unlimited telephone support for the product it covers. The secondary benefit is hardware repairs, in the unlikely even of a failure. The support especially works well for people who like to have added assistance rather than hoping for a friend to come along and help.
