After tolerating an old 17 monitor for far too long, I decided to try this Acer B247W bmiprzx 24 16:10 IPS Monitor from B&H, since I know that they carry good quality products. My desk is somewhat crowded, so the 16:10 size fits the space available nicely. I really like the sturdy, adjustable base and mount on this monitor, and the screen is very clear. I already had the VLC media player ap installed on my windows 10 laptop, so when I plugged this into my USB port straight from the box, it was recognized and functioned immediately. If your computer doesn't have a driver, Transcend provides one free, but you must download one in order to use external drives--perhaps that's why some users claim their player wouldn't work? 5 |
