Just installed the new Seagate 500 GB SSD into an Acer Aspire E15 laptop. Reinstalled W10 onto the laptop and it boots really fast now. The battery life of the laptop is significantly improved as well. I was able to purchase the drive on sale so it was a great deal. 5 |

Purchased this laptop to replace a 3 year old Acer Aspire 3 that I needed for other uses. The Acers seem to have a good balance of features for our everyday home use. Setting side by side, this one has a notable sharper image than the Aspire 3. Sound quality is good for a laptop. The illuminated keypad is nice but it doesn't light up the characters on the keys for us guys that need to see them in the dark. Had some bloatware installed but not too bad. Probably the only con that we noticed is that the battery life doesn't seem as good as the Aspire 3. Not a big deal for home use but maybe a consideration for someone who needs to commute with it... Overall we are very happy with this laptop. 5 |
