Acer Docking Port

I was able to attach three monitors to my Dell Inspiron 17 - 3780 Laptop but I needed two display port to HDMI cables to attach my two HDMI monitors - and when connecting to the Display Ports the one HDMI out on the docking station replicates one of the Display Port outputs... combined with using the HDMI out on my laptop and the screen of my laptop I have four monitors now - it would have been nice to attach five if the HDMI out on the docking station wasn't replicating one of the display port outputs... In any case, the universal dock has been rock solid so far.

The switch installed easily and worked from the start. I'm using a docking port for a laptop and there's no issue.

This device is extremely convenient and has a USB -C expansion port, which has a Micro SD, along with a standard SD card slot, 1 USB-C and 2 USB-A ports. To further expandability, it also has an ethernet port in the back. It also comes with 3 M command adhesive strip to prevent damage when placing it. It is perfect for mobile devices with USB-C connections, etc. It can be used on all sorts of devices for organization purposes. I would highly recommend this product!

As a tech enthusiast who often switches between multiple displays, this docking station really comes in handy. It connects seamlessly without compromising the resolutions of the screens, which meets what I am looking for. It even supports USB-C power delivery, up to 100W. Overall, this is a fantastic docking station and I would highly recommend it because of its versatility and design.

We have several monitors that do not have display port capabilities (VGA and DVI-D only) and are currently upgrading laptops/docking stations for our internal staff. The new docks only have two display ports and one VGA port. So to save on both buying new monitors and all the work of running cables, these converters are life savers. Good build and design.

This laptop docking station has a lot to offer for people that have laptops with no docking feature option. I have an Ultrabook with only 2 USB ports and no other option like Ethernet and as soon I connected it, just work great and plug and play. Great features like the gigabit ethernet port, USB 3.0 4k DisplayPort, audio port, 1 USB Type-B (for a printer)and lock port. I had no problems and I recommend it. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

Outstanding solid and thoughtful design, CalDigit thought of everything. This is one of only about 2 Mac docking stations in the world, that provides a REAR Host Thunderbolt/C port-- most all the others build that port into the front of the unit (which is an odd design choice, given that literally all other periph connections will be plugged into the back.) True plug and play- no software necessary. Zero funkiness, zero connection issues. Doesn't run hot either.
