Acer Monitor Has Black Vertical Band

Had ACER monitor that couldn't attach to retractable desk arm mount - this solved the problem works great. Be sure to allow access to buttons on bottom right when you position that bottom right arm.

I bought this cable to connect an HP t630 thin client to an Acer monitor that has a DVI input but no HDMI or DisplayPort input. It works perfectly - no problems.

After a long search for a solution for the B326HK monitor that there were problems when the monitor came out of hibernation, I can today, March 5, 2015 writing down the solution. Acer does not deliver it properly DisplayPort cable with this monitor. Because the included DisplayPort cable can NOT support 4K. The solution is you need a DisplayPort cable type HBR2. Such a cable which certainly works on the B326HK monitor can been find at this link http://www.startech.com/Cables/Audio-Video/DisplayPort/displayport-cable-10ft-certified~DISPLPORT10L . I have informed Acer and they will contact the manufacturer for this cable for replacement.

After tolerating an old 17 monitor for far too long, I decided to try this Acer B247W bmiprzx 24 16:10 IPS Monitor from B&H, since I know that they carry good quality products. My desk is somewhat crowded, so the 16:10 size fits the space available nicely. I really like the sturdy, adjustable base and mount on this monitor, and the screen is very clear. The monitor arrived promptly, and was well packaged. This was a very good purchase!

With the help of the great staff at B&H, Was able to continue using my 2010 MacPro, with a much needed new Acer monitor. Mu MacPro is strictly a work station, not connected to the Web. It works great, but my HP LP2465 monitor was failing me and no longer good for accurate color correction. The Acer is great and connects directly to my older video card .

Mounted an Acer Predator X34 Ultrawide monitor on this and was a bit worried that the weight would be a bit much. It holds this beast wonderfully with no issues. It is very well built from high quality materials and is just what I was looking for.

Nine or ten months ago I purchased a very similar Acer monitor. After another old monitor died, I bought this Asus. The Asus is simply more pleasing to the eye, or at least to my eye. It seems sharper, the colors are true, more accurate chroma/lumi, better blacks and whiter, less yellow tinge whites than the Acer. It's not a huge difference, but I give it a 3 to 5% edge over the Acer.

I absolutely love this monitor! I upgraded from a very old acer 1680x1050 20" monitor and man am I glad I did. Love the Freesync integration, the build is beautiful, screen looks amazing. The only things I could ask for are a height adjustable stand (though I'm very happy it is vesa compatible) and a higher refresh rate. I'm also not a big fan of the joystick menu navigation as I would prefer dedicated buttons. To me these are all very small things though and I'm so happy with the product I'll soon be purchasing 2 more and setting up a curved surround setup WOOT WOOT!
