Read the fine print. This uses Bluetooth LE, and that requires an iPad3 or better. After wondering why it didn't work with either iPad2 here, I found that tidbit (which I had missed) in the fine print, hemmed, hawed, and opted to upgrade the iPad side of the system. It is a quality product, which on the one hand seems quite pricey for what is effectively a 2 button bluetooth keyboard, but on the other hand is much better made than whatever I might kludge up from a cheaper bluetooth keyboard with many more keys. The keys are lit, soft, and silent, and the device is considerably more affordable than some others in its niche - and with the keys on top, not over the edge, it works fine on carpets (some reviews indicate that is a weakness of some competing devices.) For hands-free page turning it really is ideal. Intended for foot operation, it is a bit larger than you'd expect from the pictures. 5 |

Buy this tripod if you need a tall one. I bought this with the W3 Dolly. Everything is well built. My first tripod is the Magnus VT-4000 which is a good all around tripod. For my second camera position, I wanted something that would be taller if I needed to shoot over the heads at an event. The PROVISTA18 is larger and heavier, but way high. If I mount it on the W3 Dolly, the camera plate goes all the way up to 7'3! 5 |
