Acoustic Guitar Fl Studio

I use the mic to record vocals and acoustic guitar in my home studio. I find it clear and responsive across all frequencies, with little feedback. It feels solid and comes with a handy carry pouch for traveling. Overall, great value mic. 5 |

Ive been used to record guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, vocals in my studio and the sound its always great, warm and fat in all situations. I really like to have a Tube Preamp with EQ and Compressor, I can setup the whole tone using this avalon. 5 |

I use the System 10 for my acoustic guitar , electric guitar as well as vocal mics and instrument mics . I use the System 10 for on stage use and for studio recording . I get clear signals with no cut-outs and awesome sound ! With a great price point ! Sincerely , Derek 5 |

I bought these mics for my semi-professional studio about a month ago. In that time i have used them on vocals, acoustic guitar, and electric guitar. They make mellow vocals warm and sultry while acoustic guitars shine. However if your recording a loud singer or heavy vocals I'd suggest something else. What first attracted me to these mics was the price. two ribbon microphones for such a low price? They must be junk. But after doing several weeks of research and talking to people that had them I decided to make the purchase. I'm so glad I did! The only downside to these mics is that they are ribbons and the user must be careful in handling them so as not to damage the coils. So avoid plosives when doing vocal takes, this is where pop-filters come in handy. Cascade Mics definitely stepped up. 5 |

This mic was surprisingly warm and articulate, It captures my acoustic guitar and vocals in my home studio , with results that approach a pro studio. Do Not let the low price fool you . Full 20-20 freq. response. great for instruments vocals or podcasts. I'm getting another to do ambient room tracks, during band rehearsal. 5 |

Really enjoying this for my home studio. Tested by recording an acoustic guitar and it sounds much better than my acoustic pickups. 5 |

Great addition to any recording studio, pro or home. I've found it particularly good for recording acoustic guitar. 5 |

I have a project studio and record primarily acoustic instruments (Guitar, piano, various stringed instruments, hand percussion and vocals etc) Already own a set of Neumann KM 184's and an AKG C214 Large Diaphragm but have always had a fondness for the AKG small diaphragm sound ever since I started out years ago with a Vienna made C1000 (which I still have and love). I wanted another small diaphragm option and the 451's deliver big time. To be totally non technical I would describe the AKG's sound as open and airy especially on fingerstyle acoustic guitar. I tell people think of the old Windham Hill guitar sound. (yes I know they used Neumann's too). You will not go wrong with this mic if you play acoustic music. 5 |
