Really good phones...especially for the price. I use them for some general listening, but mostly I'm using them while tracking acoustic instruments in my studio. Fairly long cable and a nice screw on 1/4 adaptor. These things are very efficient compared to the Audio Technia phones I've been using...much louder at the same volume. Comfortable too! 5 |

One of the best (some would say the best...) microphone in the business, particularly for vocals and lower sound level instruments (acoustic guitar, flute, etc...). Extremely sensitive, very low noise. Picks up the tiniest detail. The switchable polar pattern, integrated low cut filter and 10 dB attenuation pad means you can use them for anything in any situation, couple of switches and you are done. Just did a simultaneous recording with my Schoeps on a flute and these sounded even better, if that was at all possible. More velvet and refinment in the mid tones. You could immediately tell why they are unsurpassed on voice. If you can afford it and don't mind how large they are, this is the quintessential studio mic you need in your arsenal. 5 |

This is the one if you are a audio expert and want the most natural and pure sound for acoustic instruments. This things sounds like should be $5,000! I just found the best personal PA of my career ....and I have owned many 5 |

I've used this on pickups from a number of acoustic instruments: violins, mandolins, guitars, etc. It always has a clean sound and the features I need to enhance the quality (if necessary) like a ground/lift switch, impedance switch for the input (instrument/amp) and a filter switch. Plus it's passive so I don't have to worry about phantom power. I love it! 5 |

Amazing clarity on acoustic instruments and vocals. Recommended by one of the best sound engineers I know. A great addition to any home recording setup, podcast, and live performance situations where richness and full-spectrum sound are needed. 5 |

I'm a musician and home recording my own stuff. I used these mics both for close miking acoustic instruments and overall ambiance miking, and they gave very good performance in both. I'm not so much obsessive about flat frequency response, and I'm not running a full equipped studio; so these are more than enough for me. Unbelievably great performance for the price, especially on acoustic instruments, low weight, works directly with the 48V phantom power of my firewire sound interface, also suitable for stereo ambiance miking as a pair when needed, with a really slight difference in frequency response. Worst thing about them is, although it's said that they are cardioid, they are in fact somewhere between cardioid and omni. 5 |

Such a clear, crisp sound. Excellent for my recording studio for vocals and acoustic instruments. Love it. 5 |

This cardiod pattern lavalier has a very n eutral flat sound that works well with acoustic instruments. It even comes with a clip on for acoustic guitars. I use them for sit down interviews. They are not bright but with a little EQ in post they shine. It is a good alternative to the standard omni directional lavalier. 5 |
