Action Camera Two Hand Stabilizer

Two years ago I made my worse mistake in quite some time - rather than weigh my SONY HDR-FX7 I estimated its weight, over-guessing by 30% (the camera weighs in under 5 pounds). And in doing so I bought the Glidecam 4000 Pro stabilizer, and have never been able to use it with that camera. But now with my purchase of the Camera Weight Plate by Glidecam, I can now use the stabilizer with both my FX7 and my heavier cameras. This simple little device not only saved me lots of money I would have spent on an additional stabilizer, but I can transport one stabilizer for my cameras rather than two or more.

When I received my action pan stabilizer I was a little concerned that it was constructed of plastic, but when I became more familiar with it and putting it to the test in the woods and on the water I soon realized that it was a great purchase. It is one durable, light weight piece of equipment. It's light enough that my arm doesn't get worn out from filming and sturdy enough that I am not afraid to use it in extreme conditions. Overall, for the price, this is as good as it gets. I highly recommend this product!

Used first time for a fashion show in NYC. The movie one button convenience is great. To take fast action still pictures put the camera in P mode and adjust the ISO rating. It will take great indoor action photos fast in fairly low light (no flash) in this mode. Most important is to READ the MANUAL that comes with the camera (it is in CD form and I printed it out and put it in a binder for future reference). Also read the parts about computer downloads. The view grid is great for composition and the wide angle/optical telephoto is superb for ever shot imaginable. I can use one lens for everything. Best with a 16 GB memory. Huge LCD screen. I almost never need the flash, so I keep it down. Best way to hold camera is thumb and index fingers of left hand at either end, in the grooves, if using the flash, then click with right hand. Experiment with P and other modes, as well as auto mode. This is an advanced amateur, semi-pro-professional camera that beats SLR cameras in size and meets their performance in lens and pixel density, and it weighs next to nothing, fits in the shirt pocket, and does video as well as still. Great buy.

This grip action ballhead is great to use. You can quickly change the position of your camera with one hand. You don't have to loosen a knob to change the orientation of your camera and it takes seconds. It can be used with either the left or right hand. There is really no downside to using this product.

I use a NikonD200 with a Neoprene neck strap and the neoprene, flexible Stabilizer Strap (Op/Tech USA) around my chest when camera is not in use. The stabilizer precents the camera swaying when I am running, climbing, or otherwise active, even getting out of crowded vehicles. The stbilizer prevents the strap from impacting anything like branches, rock walls, furniture, or the person in the seat ahead of me. It permits the camera to instantly slip out of the stabilizer, leaving the strap in position./ The strap length is adjustable to fit over a bulky jacket or vest, and the snap-on ends make it easy to fit.The central lens opening can be enlarged to fit extremely wide diameter lenses. I canot imagine how it could be improved.

I have 3 of these on different plates and such to keep from having to remove the camera from the stabilizer, they are indispensable.

Two Leica M cameras with lenses and all essential accessories fit within this bag ready for action. The bag is compact, well padded and durable. It is my second Domke 5XB and my original one is still in use, also packed with cameras ready for action. I use 5 Domke bags for my photographic gear. I have no complaints about this bag. I have never used the belt loops on my 5XB bags due to the relatively heavy weight with two cameras and lenses, but it is nice to have the option. I also appreciate the removable shoulder strap option.

This flight stick does exactly what you'd expect. It has nice smooth action, and it works well. Two things that surprised me (but weren't detractors): 1. It takes a screwdriver to change the button layout 2. It's not as heavy as I expected. It still holds still nicely, and it hasn't been an issue. All in all, I really like it.

I use the GXT Two Way Radio for photoshoots. I give each photographer, and the talent one. It allows us to capture action shots. Very easy to use, good range, and a requirement on production days.

You can't beat the price. Two come in the pack. I love doing sports action photography and unfortunately its rained the past few weeks. I saw this great deal.
