Action Camera Vs Mirrorless Short Film

In the pursuit of the perfect camera for Vlogging, I ve bought action, pocket , DSLR , Mirrorless APS-C cameras. However, all have something that is not to my liking. This Sony ZV-1 is not so different. But a few issue such as battery life and not so wide angel lens, I have bought extra batteries and an extension for the grip to fix the issues.

I use this with my mirrorless camera and the Essential Film Holder. I scan tons of 35mm film and this light works perfectly.

..and a slightly more subdued color palette VS its 400 speed sister film, making it especially suited for color landscape shots. The price for all this is a lowered exposure latitude, especially towards the lower end.

Perfect for my Canon R7 mirrorless camera with short tele lens. Not too heavy and easy to switch to a wrist loop with these clever attachments.

This is my first Fuji Camera and first mirrorless. My last camera was a Nikon entry-level DSLR around 10 years old. It was time for an upgrade. This camera is compact but packs a big punch. I'm amazed by how much you can customize through the settings. Taking some time looking through the menus and exploring the settings before you take it out makes a world of difference. I also took some time to create my own custom film sims which makes shooting so much fun and creative. I practice film photography and having this digital option with somewhat traditional dials complements my film practice perfectly.

My friends had this camera and we used it to film a little short film. The quality was amazing and it was easy to use.

Great action camera. People are complaining about it overheating at 4k 120 or 4k with high frame rates for long periods of time. Most people this won't be an issue as most don't film at high frame rates for long periods of time and most of the time they don't do it sitting on their desk to test things. In my experience of 4k filming of 30fps, I've been able to use a power bank plugged into the unit and film for hours and hours without any issues. DJI has released multiple firmware updates to also improve the performance and features in the camera. Looking forward to see what other updates they push to the camera to keep improving it. Overall I was skeptical of the reviews and issues people were reporting but when I got the camera in my hand I realized quickly that most of the issues were the same issues all other action cameras had too, but most people aren't shooting in those situations just to see how long it'll film at the max settings. I would purchase this again and with all the 3rd party accessories coming out, it keeps getting better.

A fun, cheap film camera to play around with! I mostly shoot with my mirrorless camera, but I wanted to try shooting with film, and this was a great camera to introduce me to it. It's great for the price, and I love how small and compact it is for carrying around in my purse. Obviously this camera isn't the sturdiest, but the plastic is a lot sturdier than I was expecting for the price.

This is a awesome entry level mirrorless camera, and if you're a old film guy like myself with a collection of old Nikon glass, I'd pick up the ZTF adapter too.
