Activate Universal Remote

I was looking for a remote to activate the camera that was inexpensive. The ShutterBoss does the job.

The remote works as advertised. You need to put the camera on one of the timer modes, then use the remote to activate the shutter. Remote has a switch in the back to change from instant shutter or 2 second delay shutter. Worked seamlessly with both a 6D and a 80D. I wish it worked via radio signal rather than IR beam, as it seems to require rather close line of sight to work. Overall I'm satisfied with it, specially for the low price that B&H sells it for!

It's easy to setup, easy to use, works great, and I love the wireless and voice activate remote.

It's a great non-expensive add on. Too bad it requries going through the menu to activate remote control. Wish it was just a press of one button.

The pole works great, but its the remote I really like. I use it on the handlebar of my bikes to activate the camera while riding. Very convenient!

This remote works exactly the way I needed it to. I don't have to even be facing my camera to activate the shutter & the focusing option is a huge time saver when I'm taking self portraits. I would definitely recommend this remote.

Very easy to use - simply install the battery and plug it in and fire. If you use back button focussing, then it doesn't seem to activate re-focus when pressing the activate button half way down on the remote. I suggest using shutter release button focussing when using the remote to ensure the camera will focus

Devices were easy to install and to activate. The remote control features are much better than your competitors touch-pad technology.

I use three GoPro 8 cameras in our boat to capture different angles during our fishing adventures. Using The Remote I can activate record and stop all with the push of a button. It does sync to the camera's and on rare occasions it will lose the connection to one of the cameras. Reconnecting is quick and easy and pretty straight forward. I really like The Remote even if it has an occasional hiccup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We lose remotes every day, so it's nice to have a universal backup remote. It's very easy to use. Fits nicely in your hand and it's bigger than our normal remote. So I it's been harder to lose lol. Didn't have any problems getting it set up. Pretty self-explanatory. It's a must-have!
