As usual, Asus has made installation as easy as pie. Enter your SSID, user and password and it just works. If you want to configure in greater depth and for more features just login and enjoy the great web interface. The last Asus Router lasted 11 years, being on all the time. If it is like its predecessor this one will too. (It does not seem to be as warm.) For speed and range this one is so much better than our old one!

Excellent managed switch at a reasonable price. User friendly web management, small form factor and quiet. Well suited for indoor use in a quiet environment. Very pleased.

Bought this device after researching other competing devices and the thing that stood out the most is the user interface and management options. It's clean, it's easy and intuitive. The accompanying mobile applications are also excellent. Ubiquiti really nailed it with the Dream Machine... so much so that I'm strongly considering it when my next wave of upgrades happen.

Simple to install - just plug it in and the drive shows up on my folder directory. It delivers over 200 MB/sec transfer rates on my Windows 10 i7 desktop. I'm using it for offloading large data files from my active computer drives to to minimize the nightly backup. This is my third WD Elements hard drive, and they have always been reliable.

I bought this kit to shoot photos for my church's directory. It is light duty but for my application it is all I need at a reasonable price. If this was going to get more frequent use I would have purchased something sturdier but for this project it is 100% meeting my needs. I found that if I tighten the head sufficiently the reflector/umbrella does not droop even after several hours of use. So far no problems with the bulbs that came with the kit but I did buy extras just in case. I was skeptical about the 500 W bulbs because with a previous Smith Victor set that I had purchased used, 500 W bulbs melted the plastic sockets. No problem with this set, however.

I recently purchased two of these for use as backup devices (one in my basement, one in an outbuilding) to hold copies of my photos and other data in case of earthquake, fire, or other disaster (including human error). Since the backup software runs on my desktop computer, the main feature of this NAS I use is the SMB server. The browser-based configuration interface is clean and easy to use, and provides fine-grained control over the filesystem, SMB, user accounts, and security controls. An optional SSH connection will allow Linux experts even more choices. I also appreciated the basic-but-useful file manager app. The CPU and memory were sufficient to keep my 1Gb network and 5400rpm WD Red+ drives saturated on large file transfers such as RAW files, but bogged down by about 40% on directory trees full of smaller files, presumably due to the overhead of directory transactions on the HDDs. That's good enough for me---a 1-terabyte update took about 3 hours, and the average non-shooting-day backup is closer to 5 minutes--both of which take place comfortably during my sleep. Your mileage my vary, especially if you use fancier NAS services that require more CPU cycles. But for my purpose, these little boxes are handy and cost-effective.

Purchased the Impact Background Support System for taking portraits for my churchs photo directory.  Pleased with the construction and design of the stands and support bars.  All around, better than I had expected.  Thank you!
