Active Vs Passive Pickups Bass

Simple box. Does exactly what a good active di should do. I use it for all my passive basses.

blistering fast compared to tb2. i had the same RAID in tb2 and used an adapter to go to tb3 on imac pro and tb2 drives were sounding strange and one day did not mount at all (mounted eventually). so decided that i need tb3. very happy. mounts and unmounts fast. fast transnfer of data. comes with tb3 cable which is skimpy in size and should be longer (around 3’). so i bought a 6.6’ cable. be aware tb3 cables come in passive and active rating. passive ok up to 3’. over that you need an active cable otherwise speed and ability of transfering data will be compromised. active cables are expensive.

make sure to get an active display port cable instead of a passive one. had to return a couple before I realized my mistake. works great though

I own a pair of both the Mackie SRM 450 passive and active speakers (same size). I already owned these covers for my passive speakers, but not the active ones. My passive speakers still look brand new after hundreds of gigs thanks to these covers. I started playing some outdoor gigs and wanted the same great protection for my active speakers. Also, these covers make the speakers easy to carry. Just make sure your set the speaker into the cover in the correct direction (bottom speaker facing right side) for the best fit.

have used the westcott 50 for years for active, passive and bounce fill in photography and videography. easy to clamp to a stand and rigid enough to withstand a little wind when hand holding, the light disc folds easily and is a must-have item at our studio and on the road. it is useful to shield the cameraman if you have to shoot in midday sun and the translucent white is a good bounce and light filtering scrim. silver and gold material will not scrape off or fade like some other light discs. zippered nylon case could be better made and will wear out first, but disc is so cheap you can afford to just buy a whole new disc just to get a new case after several years of use. just the way of the world these days. highly recommend.

I use it for practicing cover with my bass direct in one mix input and the other mix input for the music work great with my active bass and leak of signal with my passive one. I use it too for recording band (track sheet) in my home studio work great! I love the ext. in option, you also have a talk back still work like a new one after four year! now a must have for me!

I bought this because of how small they are and how much sound I get from these. I work overnights and I am very active and I've had other headphones that fall out of me ears but these don't ! I did read other reviews about these headphones and I always wish headphones had more bass but the bass are fine with these headphones.
