Still using a slide projector, and great bulbs/lamps are needed.

The bulb allows me to use an old Kodak slide projector to view slides I had previously taken

The bulb worked perfectly in my 50 year old Kodak slide projector.

This projector was exactly what I needed for my new classroom. Nice and portable and really bright.

I got these for spares for my Kodak slide projector. Film is starting to become obsolete and I have a large number of slides of family members who have passed away so I want to be able to view them. Kodak is not producing these any more so you have to have them when needed.

My Kodak Carousel slide projector broke and I was unable to get ir repaired. I got the slide viewer to review and select slides to be digitized. The Pana-Vue works perfectly for my purpose. I like being able to stack several slides and view them rather quickly.

It works quite well but takes a few moments to digest the instructions, but generally if you have a pole like I have, you screw the one piece to the pole, attach the arms to the leg area of the projector(lower piece) , and turn it upside down and hang the project to the pole using the second piece. Now, mind you, it's two piece assembly, legs on bottom piece; controls on top piece. top piece screws to poll, bottom piece attaches to projector, bottom and top slide together, awkward at first but it works, then you turn in a screw so they can't slide apart. The risky part is when bottom with projector attached slides into top piece. You put in a screw so it cant slide out once you get them together. The arrow points to front of projector where light is.

Dear sirs;Recently a family member passed away and I have shouldered the task of sorting out and cleaning out the house.During this project I came across seven boxes - 13x13x18 - that were filled from end-to-end with small, yellow, Kodak boxes of 35 mm slides, each box containing about 60 colored slide negatives. there were literally thousands of slides that needed to be examined for purposes of identification of individuals, weddings, vacation trips, etc. And many that had no bearing on anything and could be discarded.Having lost, sold, or scrapped my old slide projector and ground glass screens years ago, I recalled having having been exposed to small hand-held slide viewers, I set about to locate one.Starting with the yellow-pages in the telephone book, I began calling around to see if by chance any photo shops still had any of them. Many of the younger sales persons didn't know what I was talking about. One of them however recommended Googling the web, which I did. What do you know? B&H came up on the first attempt. I ordered a PANA-VUE slide viewer #3, priced at $*! It arrived by mail a week later and I have already examined quite-a-few of the Kodak boxes. It is so simple to sit in my favorite leather chair and go through the boxes of slides. Because the slides are negatives, it is almost impossible to make much out of the slides without a projector or this small hand-held viewer which views the slides in color.Thank you B&H; you have helped make an almost impossible task turn out to be quite simple, and even enjoyable!Jim *

We decided to purchase this scanner instead of sinking money into a refurbished slide projector. It was the best decision. In addition to capturing a digital file of all of my grandfather and great-grandfathers slides, we now have digital images of all their negatives and pictures for which no slides existed. The scanner and the software were easy to use and intuitive. Best purchase in the last year!
