Adam Studio Monitor Speakers

I recently purchased the Kali Lone Pine Studio Monitor V2 speakers and I am blown away by their performance. The sound quality is crystal clear and the bass response is impressive. The compact size makes them perfect for my home studio, but they pack a punch that can easily fill a larger room. The build quality is top-notch and they look great on my desk. I highly recommend the Kali Lone Pine Studio Monitor V2 speakers to anyone in need of an upgrade to their studio setup. 5 |

I bought these as a more compact replacement for a pair of ADAM Audio T8V's and I think these are wonderful. I'm a big fan of AMT tweeters, I think these are more defined than other AMT tweeters I've heard before. The 5.25 woofer puts out some impressively solid bass, so much so that I don't feel I need a subwoofer. I use these speakers for listening and monitoring. Also, the industrial design of these speakers (and the desk stands) are really nice. 5 |

I've been very happy with this sub and it blends well with my small Adam T5V computer speakers. Sound is very clear, great sound stage. I would get this combination again! 5 |

Side by side comparison to ADAM speakers revealed these are the best speakers on the market. They have very clear and big bass. And they have very clear mids and highs. If clarity and low end boom and bass clarity is your thing, then these speakers are the best you will find in the music store. They are better than ADAM Audio speakers in a side by side comparison the rep took me thru, it was close with ADAM being second, but after listening to the EVE SC208s, the ADAMS started to sound just a little more muffled than when I first heard them before hearing the EVE SC208s, and EVE SC208 gave off a big clear, defined, tight bass that was better than ADAM's. Surprisingly the budget Mackie MR8 MK3 kinda came in close third place in all the test. Mackie has bass too and pretty clear mids in the MK3 series only, but EVE's are the best of all on the shelf music store monitors. They are the most expensive tho, so you know why, but you get what you pay for. If you want the monitor with the biggest baddest clearest bass and mids and highs that are not fatiguing at long periods of time, then you will have to pay the cost to be the boss with these. 5 |

I use the ADAM A8X speakers with my Korg Chronos X keyboard and am amazed at its performance so I knew the A7X would be perfect for a center channel speaker in my surround sound system. This is perfect for vocal clarity and I am not disappointed. Yup I give it a full thumbs-up! 5 |

I use these with my Adam A7x speakers and they're the first headphones I've bought where it doesn't sound like I'm listening to a different mix when I put my headphones on. I've got Focal, AKG and another pair of Sennheiser's, but these are the best. 5 |

I bought a pair during 2014 Holiday season here. I was shopping for good sound speakers for a while and actually listened to Yamaha HS8 in @. After the wonderful holiday discount, Adam is still twice as costly as Yamaha's. But boy, the sound! I'm glad I didn't buy Yamaha earlier. The money is well spent on Adam. I'm not a musician. I simply need active speakers to listen to music, mostly classic and vocal and some pop/jazz/country, basically everything except heavy metal or hiphop. I adjusted the low and high in the back and put them on good stands behind my desk and put my head at the sweet spot per instructions, then the clear and full spectrum sound just keep flowing in straight to my soul. I had B&W DM603 floor standing speakers before. I also have Sennheiser HD600 headphone (which I paid over half a grand a few year back). I feel that Adam is the most clear sound in both high and mid, for both instrument and human voices. Adam's low easily beats both. Front base port probably helps a bit here. It's not just the quantity, it's more about the quality of the base - very clean zero distortion base that simply surrounds me all over when listening to well recorded music. People say studio monitors are flat so may not be suitable for normal music listening. Well, comparing to B&W, I like this pair better. I never feel they add to or take away anything from the music. In fact, I start to notice some music details that I didn't know existed before. I like Yamaha HS8 too, especially its warmer rendition of human voices. But overall Adam's clarity/cleanliness throughout the sound range easily set itself apart.5 stars indeed. 5 |

It's hard to find near field monitors that are under $1,000 per pair, but these Adam T7VT speakers are a great fit. Great frequency response and with the design, the clarity is sharp with welcoming lower tones. The warning that these speakers are so powerful that they could injure your ears is actually amusing, yet true. No need to crank them at 120dB! Visually elegant, XLR connectors, as well as RCA make them a welcome speaker in pro environments. Excellent, self powered speakers. Highly recommend. 5 |

I was first introduced to Adam monitors at my previous production position by the head audio engineer. I knew when it came time to upgrade my home studio, Adam monitors were at the top of my short list. I debated on whether getting the Adam A5X models with a subwoofer or just a pair of the A7X. Because my home studio is small with untreated walls I opted in favor of a pair of A7X and no subwoofer. Absolutely no regrets. These things sound so amazing! Plenty of low end. This is one of the single best investments I've ever made for editing HD video. How good are they? My old monitors will soon be listed for sale. 5 |

I had some experience with the earlier generation Adam A7. The new A7X model features some very nice improvements. Where the old A7 seemed to be a little subdued in the 40hz range, the A7X goes down to 40 without difficulty and shows signs of audio as low as 28-30hz. It is hard to beat the ribbon tweeters for clarity and stereo imaging. While I do tracking in a pro studio, I purchased a pair of A7Xs for my home setup where I can do editing and basic automation. I am tempted to take these speakers into the pro studio and try some detailed mixing. They are portable and just the right size for me. 5 |
