Add A Home Button To Chrome

Big improvement to the Zf shutter button feel. The silver is chrome and the black is shiny, unlike the B&H/Nikon product photo that makes them look matte. However, the soft release does exactly match the buttons on the front of the Nikon Zf, which are also chrome and shiny black. 5 |

I like it but the chrome does come off over time and I wish it had a flat side. 5 |

Waited for this lens to go on sale, then hit the “add to cart” button! Very pleased and supported through many reviews touting overal excellent performance. I’m using on an XH-1 and, although obviously heavy compared to my primes, balances well and is a lens I expect to use with pleasure for years ahead. Also have the 55-200mm but think of this as an “L” lens from my Canon days. Considering the 1.4 converter which I hope to pick up used. 5 |

Add this to my Falccam Baseplate and my camera now slides on and off with the push of a button. If you shoot with a bigger mobile rig, this piece is critical for being about to get your gear set up and torn down quickly. 5 |

The optical method of determining position is excellent. Spring is a little strong (only one for all functions - can't be adjusted or removed) but getting used to it and now consider it good exercise. :) Base is very weighted but I used the attachment holes in the bottom to add a piece of wood so I can clamp it to my desk for rock solid support since I get crazy when driving race sims with it. I'd probably rate it 4.5 stars since as others have mentioned, the buttons are a little cheap feeling but do work well. I didn't like the thumb rest as another mentioned but you can easily remove it an add the left hand blank cover so it's more generic in feel. Also, the stick button positions take some getting used to. (I use the fire button for throttle and center back button for braking.) I like the twist grip for rudder on flight sims but didn't like it for racing steering. I use the left/right for that. Note, the rest of this review is toward B&H where I purchased it from. It was listed as new but was obviously an open box product, maybe floor demo or return. No warranty card and packing wasn't sealed. Everything works however and not scratched up so I'll live with it. Just a heads up to potential customers. 5 |

I edit 10 hours a day 7 days a week most of the time. This has saved me a ton of time. Once you get a few of your custom knobs configured and remember where they are you will never go back to a keyboard. My only real complaint is that you can't add custom presets that you have created. I work a lot with pictures on the timeline for example. I have a button that scales the photo to the timeline. a knob to zoom in bigger, wheels to crop and feather and also a button to open the current photo in Photoshop and a button to add the default transition and one to add a custom LUT (you can add as many as you want and each time you hit the button it skips to the next one, or none) and that is just the start. 5 |
