Add A New Folder To Steam Library

Needed a fast SSD for my Steam library, and this came in at the right price. No issues so far.

I picked this up to hold a decent chunk of my Steam library, and was surprised to find that the speed is much improved over USB 3.0 drives of old. Currently, there is now no discernable difference in speed between this drive and a comparable internal drive. I did purchase 2, but for different uses, one for games, the other for storing backups of my phone, laptop, and tablet, with plenty of room left for some music and movies/shows. After hammering both drives with transfers, streaming, and gaming, the drive and casing both remained cool to the touch. Of course, there are likely cheaper options out there currently, but I am happy with my purchase for my use case.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It just upgraded the Steam library drive in my gaming machine from an older SATA SSD to a 250 GB NV2 NVMe M.2 drive and am just blown away by how much this single upgrade has decreased load times. I knew that NVMe SSDs were faster than SATA, but I had no idea how much the lack of PCIe was holding me back! This little M.2 drive uses a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface on my Asus ROG G550F motherboard and I've paired it up with my Ryzen 5800X CPU. I ran CrystalDiskMark on it and was shocked to see sequential read at roughly 6.5 GB/s and sequential write at roughly 2.9 GB/s! This is well over the 3.5 GB/s read and 2.1 GB/s write quoted by Kingston. I'm a little concerned about the overall write endurance of the drive: My 250 GB model is rated at 80 TBW. However, since I use this as my Steam library drive, most of my workloads are "write once, read many", so I don't think I'll ever get anywhere close to the endurance rating. Overall, I'm very happy with this drive and wish I would have upgraded my system sooner!

Amazing hardware for switcher. The only feature I would add is multi steam option

I bought this to add to my library for special effects in AE. I'm impressed with the quality.

I really appreciate the fact that you can add folders to your deck. I have a folder of prewritten tweets that are just ready to go at a simple press of a button. It helps having things at the top of your fingers. I definitely would recommend this to every streamer!

This package of photo paper was an add on to our printer purchase. We didn't need it and will be donating it to our local library for their fall auction fund raiser.
