The plug-and-play capability is great for small projects that you do not have limitless hours to slave over in order to make it look awesome. Action Essentials steps in and allows you to add great effects and customize them to fit to your project. I recommend it to anyone looking for an easier way to add effects to their videos. I'd also recommend going to Video Copilot for the tutorials on how to use their products. ... It's also great purchasing Video Copilot materials through B&H. It's usually a few dollars cheaper and instant download after the purchase goes through and the email is sent to you. I've had no issues with this having bought numerous Video Copilot software packages from B&H.

Bought this because using one screen and trying to keep up with spreadsheets/pdfs/email is next to impossible. Add in using Teams and multi tasking a bit on the road and life gets tougher. This product did exactly what I wanted it to do. Set up was easy. There is a panel included in case you'd rather stand it up separately from laptop. I found their FAQ helpful for getting settings right on extending viewing and flipping screen. Would buy again. Thought price was on the better end of the options as well.

I usually use it for Zoom and Teams. It gets the job done. Not too fancy, but I would recommend it.

When you attach the Quantum Qflash CoPilot in your hot shoe it tightens solidly with a wheel lock and eliminates any synch cord from camera to flash head with three radio frequencies for synch and other controls that actually make the unit a pro worthy piece of equipment. This is the way Quantum meant the unit be used!

I have 2 Pilots ( one for each camera) and will now be selling one of them . I love this CoPilot. I can control either combination of Trios or 5D-r from Camera in seconds. Does it do everything a Pilot does? no, but it will control 3 zones in either Manual or QTTL fast and with its small size you don't even feel the extra weight.

I've had Video Copilot's plug-in at several post houses I worked at, but never at home. It makes my life so much easier when I need to quick, 3d title animations. It's fast and it looks so good!

Video Copilot's element 3d is a great plugin. It allows me to bring my objects that I have modeled in Lightwave, into After effects. This has helped speed up production, because I don't have to render out the scene first. I can take my model straight into After Effects and then render my scene. All in After Effects.

As someone who learned much of his After Effects skills from free tutorials on Video Copilot, I was more than happy to purchase the Element 3D bundle once I saw its capabilities. You do need to know After Effects and some level of 3D object orientation/texturing/animation to really utilize this, but the learning curve is nice without having to model things from scratch. If you have experimented with different plugins for AE and know how to use sliders & values to hash out a look, then this is certainly a product you can benefit from.
