Adding Outdoor Speakers To Existing Sound System

This is a fantastic upgrade to our existing surround sound system - which I have always liked. Setting up the surround sound speakers was easy, and the quality from Arc is really noticeable.

This is a follow on to my review of the Soundbar 700, wanted to let everyone know about the surround speaker option for the system. This is an excellent addition to an already incredible surround sound system. The build quality is very high end as expected and the speakers installed relatively easy, you will need to “assemble” the connectors for the back of the speakers; everything you need is included and it allows you customize the length of the power cable for a clean install, you do however need to find someplace for the power brick (about the size of a laptop power supply) but other than that it is very straightforward and easy enough to add to the Soundbar 700. The configuration part can be tricky if you try and connect them to the Soundbar 700 via the remote control, I would highly suggest using the app instead as it is much easier than the key combinations needed for the remote method. Also, if you are adding these after you have installed and configured the Soundbar 700 then you will need to run the ADAPTiQ setup again to gain the full use of the speakers. I can tell you that after using the system without the surround and then adding and properly configuring them, you will not be disappointed with the results. I thought at first glance that there was no way the tiny speakers would make a noticeable difference but I was wrong, they add a depth and dimension to the sound that gives it a 3D sound field; I was very impressed with the results just from adding these little jewels. A final thought… If you are already spending the money on the base system, then for a little extra the surround speakers will complete the package; I would say it is akin to buying car and adding the chrome wheels (it is the little extra that makes a world of difference).

These are great speakers for adding a sound system to a room with a drop ceiling. They fit right in the footprint of a 2'X2' ceiling tile (and even have a brace for 2'X4' type tiles.) Installation could not be much easier.

Ties in outdoor Sonos (Sonance) Architectural speakers to overall Sonos system for great sound and easy streaming integration.

I have four nice speakers for my outdoor sound system and this amp powers them nicely. Great sound, very happy!

We are now going to buy the connect to add our speakers to our existing wired system in our house.

I am adding 3 Ubiquiti UAP-AC-PRO UniFi Access Points to an existing system. The system is running great, with an Ubiquity Router, 8 port PoE Switch, and Cloud Key Gen2. I am very happy, as is the client with the Ubiquiti Hardware and my install.

Well made but they have no threading inside so they can't be used for adding onto existing rods.

Love Sonos and the whole experience and the capacity to build sound with adding new products to the existing set up. Bought this to go with my Beam Gen 2 and two SL's in my lounge and it adds another dimension to the sound you didn't think you needed until it's just there and right. Highly recommend.
