My Dell XPS 15 9560 came with 16gb of RAM. I could edit 4k video, but it was laggy. After installing this RAM into the computer, everything booted up immediately and the computer is much better working 4k video. Practically no lag at 4k 30fps, and much faster doing 4k 60fps. I have a six year old Dell XPS 8700 desktop that I use mostly to edit photos in Photoshop, Capture One, and Topaz Denoise. Also use it to vied CAD files in Rhino. The system came with four 4 GB modules, 16 GB total. I easily removed the original four and installed four Crucial 8 GB cards. I immediately noticed a marked improvement in the PC's performance. Faster, more responsive using all applications. Easy upgrade and worthwhile, IMO. 5 |

Purchased to increase the memory in a Dell XPS 8940. I’ve been running it for a couple of weeks and no issues paired with the 16 GB that came with the computer. The computer recognized and accepted the added RAM on startup without any problems. Much cheaper than the OEM alternative. 5 |
