[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this projector to replace an excellent Epson HD LCD projector. I was attracted to the laser light source and liked that this LG model had two separate colors which I thought would reduce the likelihood of rainbow patterns and indeed I haven't noticed these at all so far. The 4K is crisp and the picture is bright. HDR mode is very noticeable and I like the range of picture options. I use an Apple 4K TV and Xbox Series X so wasn't too interested in the onboard WebOS but its generally pretty responsive and intuitive so probably useful to have. The projected image does have a small thin light border and in super-widescreen 2.35:1 mode there are of course lighter bars at top and bottom; I'm not sure why with all the adaptive dimming technology they couldn't make it go really dark in those areas too, but projecting onto a wall with custom sprayed paint using MissisipiMan's formula in the AVSforum works really well with this projector and still looks better than the movie theater and is a big improvement over the Epson because of the 4K and laser technology, and is now useable in a brighter room. My advice is save your money on the expensive screen and splurge on this projector if you are thinking about it. I do think this technology is a generation ahead of the last and what's nice is it's also LG quality (I knew they made the best LCD IPS panels for computer displays as we have 6 of them, but now find they make really good projectors too) and really nice design and aesthetics. Switching on and off is fast and reliable and ambient noise seems quieter than anything else we have in the media room. We run a 30ft HDMI cable originally intended for 18Gbps through the ceiling and I was glad it didn't have to be replaced and meets all the XBox and Apple diagnostic tests at 4K/60Hz and 1080p/120Hz and works well with ARC sound too, even with a 3 year old receiver. 5 |

i wore out my SONY UST laser projector light source (running it 19,000 hours in 6 years) and replaced the projector with the SONY 98" TV. the loss of screen size (from 118" to 98") was more than compensated for by the amazing brillance of the picture. 5 |

I bought this laser projector to replace my standard bulb projector. I needed something that would cut through the ambient light and not have washed out images or videos. This is bright and crisp and does exactly what I had hoped it would do. Plus it was easy to install and set up. 5 |

The EF12 Smart Streaming Laser Projector is better than I expected. The clarity, color, video speed, sound quality and easy to setup. The projector is exactly what I have been looking to buy for years. I also purchased the carrying case and it is worth the money. I expected a cheap bag, this is very high quality. I have recommended this projector to my family and friends. I can wait for summer for outdoor movie night in the backyard. 5 |

OK, as most know, this is not a true blacklight. LED lighting is UV lighting but works like a blacklight. I have tried several UV lights and always a bit disappointed, including the competing DJ Lighting brand one. The first thing I noticed is the build of the light which is metal, heavy (In a good way) and solid. When you turn it on, the light is similar to a flood light, which it is supposed to be. others Ive tried claim flood, but center is brighter than the rest of the light. This ADJ UV Flood is a wide beam and has some reach to it. I actually bought one of these about 2 months ago from another online retailer. Then a bought a second one since the price the price dropped. I saw the sale (price drop) here at B & H and could not resist. Yes, i have a total of 4 of these and couldnt be happier. Only con i have found is that it does not seem to respond well to DMX like it should. It is not a deal breaker with me as using DMX for me on a UV light is more for on/off. For strobing or or any other effect, it does not change alot, like a color light would, so kind of a mute thing for me, though itd be nice if it would work properly. For a UV light, youd be hard pressed to find a better one for @ $200 or less that has the quality and reliability i have found with ADJ lighting though the years. In fact I still have several older bulb, duty cycle ADJ (American DJ back then) and all of them work flawlessly. 5 |

if you are looking for a living room tv replacement, ust laser projector, with incredible design, then just get this! i unplugged my old projector and streaming box, plugged the arc hdmi into my receiver, and was viewing stunning images on a cream wall. i don’t see any rainbow effects, but didn’t on my old dlp either. laser? yes! i am in 2020 finally! vivid colors, needs lowering of contrast, alr screen can only make this better, i don’t need one - i love the lightness. remote is supremely well designed. some early bugs (auto update not working, and bluetooth audio maxes vol between videos). so much more to write, limited by website - it’s magical! 5 |

I needed old fashioned overhead projector transparencies for my laser printer. I intend to make printed circuit board iron on etching resists. When something becomes "obsolete" that seems to be an excuse for most office supply stores to price gouge. For less than the price of ten laser transparencies [that I could find any place else on line or off] I now fifty. 5 |
