Adjust Monitor Brightness Mac

The monitor was well packaged and it arrived 1 1/2 days after I ordered it from B&H. The stand is sturdy and easy to assemble. Once the monitor is attached to the stand, it is easy to adjust the height and angle of the monitor. The factory calibrated colors are excellent, i.e., bright and well saturated without ever looking garish or artificial. It comes with a hotkey puck that fits in a recess in the middle of the stand. It is initially set to adjust the overall brightness of the monitor. I adjusted the brightness down a little bit and got just the look I wanted for my photo editing. I also have to add that the graphics are excellent. Print is easy to read and videos have very nice color. You can also download software from the BenQ website to calibrate the monitor. You have to buy a compatible color meter and the manual provides some general recommendations, e.g., x-rite, calibrate, spyder pro. For my purposes this is an outstanding monitor.

This is like the size of a small computer monitor I love it! Well built, can adjust the brightness, the temperature. Use it in my workshop to light up what I'm working on. It delivers.

I love that it serves as both a great monitor and a USB-C hub so literally only 1 USB-C cable is needed to connect to my Mac. Also love the puck that can adjust brightness easily. There are a few improvements that I'd like to see: 1. Increase refresh rate & reduce response latency - currently motion picture would show blurriness. 2. When turning the puck knob to adjust brightness, there would be an initial lag before it actually takes effect. Also in HDR mode the 1, 2 & 3 buttons become useless and can't be configured to a useful feature to me. 3. The audio & USB ports on the right side of the monitor are right on the edge, so that connecting cables to it makes it look weird - they could further recess so cables won't be visible to the front. Overall I'm very pleased with it!

Great monitor, easy to adjust. Love the resolution, has a wide range of brightness which I use at about 45%. Flicker free when set above 60hz refresh rate. So far I have no complaints. I am using it along with my ASUS ProArt PA248 monitor

Purchased this monitor to use with my Mac Mini and I am very happy. Its perfect size for what I need, brightness and contrast is great for the price. Build quality as well. I like the kick stand and the magnetic dust cover, nice little touches. Multi-touch worked right out of the box on my Windows 10 laptop. I did have to install additional software to get the multi-touch functions to work on Mac, but it was painless and I have full functionality as if it were an iPad controlling my PC. I would recommend buying a longer Thinderbolt cable than the 3' that comes with the monitor, that way you have a little more wiggle room for the workstation setup.
