Adjustable Work Platform Portable

I use this for a shooting platform. With a HOG, It is solid, stable and adjustable. Enough said.

Great rechargeable, portable work light. Hang it, or use the adjustable stand. Very bright, long battery life, focusing beam and you NEVER have to buy batteries!

This platform feels very strong and secure and the tension seems adjustable. I bought this to use with my new Rhino ARC II 42 slider.

Taller than most, with plasticized no-rotate adjustable pins for the camera and adjustable plates to keep the flash facing forward as well.  The extra height helps drop shadows behind a subject, if youre not too close to a wall. A firm spring in the handle keeps the upper arm from flopping around in either the vertical or horizontal position.  It does not have a cork or rubber base for the camera, so a camera could slide around if the no-rotate pins are removed or arent adjusted properly.  I simply cut out and glued a cork gasket to the camera platform.    I use it with Olympus micro four thirds cameras.   Four stars for not having a rubberized camera platform, back to five stars for the value and easy fix.

Originally, I was going to buy the original PIXI min-tripod, but I decided to go with this one instead. It's a very nice tripod which I intend to use for some in-the-cab recordings of my snow plowing (I didn't want to buy an expensive dash cam). I like that the legs are individually adjustable in both length, and with the slide of a small switch, height. This works out well for an irregularly shaped surface by the front window where the tripod sits. It's sturdy and the screw platform-head is very secure when mounting my mini-camcorder. Buyers should note that the head on the PIXI EVO model is held in place by the red color knob which screws-down your equipment; the original PIXI's platform could be adjusted and tightened by pushing-in the red color button, which was a quick-adjustable feature the EVO model does not have. This is a very well made mini-tripod from Manfrotto. The price was fair and B&H delivered it very fast.

Completely adjustable. Many heights and angles. Many uses. Large platform - 10 1/2 X 16. Small amount of bounce because tray is held from one end. I have a 3 pound laptop on the tray, there is some bounce when I type. I think it will hold up to 10 points, but might droop.

I have 4 of these now. Good quality, stable platform. They just work.

We simply needed a small platform (particularly one that was light and portable) for our main follow cam to be stationed on top of. This fit the bill perfectly as it's very easy to set up, is height adjustable, and folds down so that we could easily store it in a closet when it's not in use. The only thing I would note is if you're using it in a situation where people will be walking around on it, it is fairly noisy since it's solid metal. An easy fix is just to mount a piece of carpet to the top, but since we just have a camera tripod sitting on it that wasn't an issue for us. This thing is built like a tank and I'm optimistic it'll last for years. Great product!
