Adjusting Blue Compass Microphone Holder

Holds my Microphone wherever I leave it. Definitely an upgrade over the Blue Compass I used before.

I originally purchased the Blue Compass arm for my microphone and in general was pretty happy as long as the position of the microphone was somewhere in the middle of the range of the arm. However, the way the tension springs work for the Blue Compass, if it's anywhere outside of the middle of the range, the tension is either too strong or too loose. There's no real way I could find to fix it and in my research seemed to be common among others as well. However, the Rode PSA1 has been a delight. It stays exactly where I move it, not matter where I move it, even at it's extremes. The fact that it just works and works well makes me not think about it anymore when I'm moving my microphone around.

Bought this to use with my Yeticaster setup (Blue's Yeti microphone, compass tube-style broadcast boom arm, and Radius III Shockmount). Wasn't sure how the mount would work with my tube-style arm but was pleasantly surprised. Easy installation, robust & sturdy construction and ideally compliments my equipment in both form and function (see pictures). Love it!

I have a walking staff that used to have a compass on top. It's lost but with this gadget I have a walking stick/camera holder!

Just installed this with my new Blue Compass boom. They work just fine together holding my Blue Yeti mic.

Works like it should with no issues. I originally bought the beautiful Blue Compass but it was garbage and couldn’t even hold the microphone with it springing forward a few inches every time.

Solid Boom. Much better than the spendy Blue Compass arm which spring is ridiculously too tight. This is much more suitable for standards mics (Blue Yeti/shock mount and pop filter) love the simplicity of it and looks super clean and holds my mic firm and well. Warranty is also very nice and from what I hear customer service is solid so would/will reccomened.

I had the Blue Compass before this and was extremely frustrated with it. This stand will literally go and stay wherever you want it to. Works great with the SM7B and they make it extremely easy to just click the XLR cable in place along the frame. Would definitely recommend it!

This is exactly what I was trying to find. I've got a fairly heavy rig (Yeti-x, blue compass shock mount, and sE reflection filter) hanging off this thing and it works great.
