Adobe Acrobat DC ... Not So Much. Terrible time keeping licenses straight. "Convert, sign, and send documents on any device with the world’s best PDF solution." Nonsense. It's not a personal license for machines you own; there is a limit of two laptops.

Most everything is perfect. My preferred scanning method (via Adobe Acrobat XI) has not been connecting with the machine. I am thinking of re-installing the Acrobat program, unless Brother has a better idea.

Very pleased to be able to buy Student-Teacher edition as a qualified student buyer. Selected retail box option being old-schooled preferring a tangible product. Had to validate my educational status online via Adobe's online outside party which was near-immediate. NOTE: Buyer must have a current higher educational institution email address ending with .edu. Once confirmed, Adobe issues an email notice to your .edu account a 24-digit serial number allowing buyer to both download and activate its most current Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 edition within 24-48 hours. Where further online help needed, Adobe's live Chat option therein is useful. B&H shipment was quick and arrived in 2 days! Otherwise, this Adobe Acrobat product is one I use most often to capture online and email print jobs. Have own or had access to Adobe's prior 5.0 and 9.0 editions too. Now with most current its Acrobat Pro 2020 edition, I'm sitting pretty!

If you like the iPad you will love this iteration. The M1 processor noticeably improves performance. Apps like google earth and the photographers ephemeris load quickly and have a snappy feel that wasn't present on my prior iPad. I feel like we've reached the point that developers don't have many excuses for not including full versions of their software on mobile platforms. That the iPad version of Adobe Photoshop still isn't as capable as the desktop version doesn't make much sense to me anymore. Though that's a criticism of Adobe and not Apple. To sum up, if you're in the market for a new iPad or tablet computer, go with the pro.

I have been a Lightroom user since version 1, but have long resisted moving to the subscription plan system (staying with version 5 since 2012). With a new computer purchase, I decided this was the time but was shocked to see the price on the Adobe website had increased to $20 per month. This was the only way I found to get the price back down to $10 per (which was what I had budgeted), so I went ahead and made the switch. Love the new features/tools, there has been many improvements since the last version 5 update, but am happy the interface has remained the same so it was a seamless transition. Cannot say enough good things about the organizational abilities of Lightroom along with the myriad ways to find an image once it is in the catalog. Over 100,000 photos and I can track down an image within 15 seconds when necessary. Once found, it is quick and easy to make the necessary adjustments prior to output. While I would love to be able to purchase a perpetual license as before, this 12 month subscription seems like a decent compromise considering the new Adobe pricing.
