The recent purchase of the Lumix handgrip DC-GX9 has made such a difference to the handling of my GX-9 camera. It feels much more secure in the hand and with the bigger lenses it is improved too, I would say that it is a must buy for all Lumix GX-9 owners. I also must mention the great and speedy service I received from B&H as I live in New Zealand.

I purchased this amplifier to replace my Crown DC 300 that had developed some distortion after 41 years in service with no maintenance whatsoever. That's correct, 41 years. Naturally, I chose to purchase another Crown product. The XLS 1502 is a very capable product - plenty of power and a clean sound. Compared to the 30 lb. plus weight of the DC 300, the XLS 1502 at 10 lbs. is a welcome relief on my back. I use the XLS 1502 in a home stereo system. The 1502 has greater power output and cost me about 50% less to purchase.

While I could purchase the Student or Teacher Adobe subscription directly from Adobe, I much prefer the simplicity and efficiency of purchasing the annual subscription from B&H.

I have been a Lightroom user since version 1, but have long resisted moving to the subscription plan system (staying with version 5 since 2012). With a new computer purchase, I decided this was the time but was shocked to see the price on the Adobe website had increased to $20 per month. This was the only way I found to get the price back down to $10 per (which was what I had budgeted), so I went ahead and made the switch. Love the new features/tools, there has been many improvements since the last version 5 update, but am happy the interface has remained the same so it was a seamless transition. Cannot say enough good things about the organizational abilities of Lightroom along with the myriad ways to find an image once it is in the catalog. Over 100,000 photos and I can track down an image within 15 seconds when necessary. Once found, it is quick and easy to make the necessary adjustments prior to output. While I would love to be able to purchase a perpetual license as before, this 12 month subscription seems like a decent compromise considering the new Adobe pricing.

This was free with the purchase of a WACOM tablet. Process with Adobe was very easy to add to my existing photography subscription plan.
