I'm a very amateur photographer for most of my life. Digital past 25 years. I've always enjoyed trying to learn how to use Adobe's photography software and amazed at what can be done in comparison with wet darkroom photography. This latest iteration of Lr and Ps cc is complex but exciting. I bought a one year download card instead of getting a disc and installing like I've done the last 7 or 8 versions. On my Windows 8.1 machine it took approximately 6-8 hours to get it downloaded on a 30-40 MBPS cable connection and 4 support online consultations. Finally, the support guy took control of my machine and got it to install. Adobe needs to work on their download systems. Obviously, the product is still worth the man-made form of hell it put me through because I am not bitter about the experience. The online support people are very good....I guess because they get a lot of practice. 5 |
