Advanced Camera And Laptop Backpack Trip For Dslr

I got this for a 5 night 45 mile backpack trip in the High Sierra so I could get DSLR shots while hiking, not just at camp. It worked great and did not bounce around with the Nikon D750 and 18-35mm G lens I was using. It was a bit difficult to attach it to my full sized backpack strap but it did go on and then was secure for the whole trip. I was using hiking poles and the camera did not get in the way of the poleing motion. I even kept it attached while climbing over boulders on some off-trail passes. My only negative is that the sliding/snapping action did get less smooth after a few days. This could be due to tiny chips in the finish after sliding it in over and over. This is a must have for backpacking with a DSLR. I've been on lots of trips where my big camera sits in my pack all day and only gets used at camp or maybe at lunch and I have a point and shoot in my pocket for quick shots while on the move. I can now get DSLR shots while hiking and even faster than pulling a small camera or phone out of my pocket. The clip is a game changer for hiking and backpacking, the only problem is now I have even more shots to sort through. 5 |

I just took my first plane trip with this backpack. It easily held camera gear, iPad, 15 laptop, a paper notebook, miscellaneous stuff, and a water bottle. Very efficient use of space. It stands upright, which helped at an airport restaurant. It feels a bit awkward on my back compared to a good daypack, but for travel, it is among the best. It fits easily under the set or in the overhead bin. I am glad I bought it and recomend it highly. 5 |

I've been doing research on camera backpack for a week and stayed in a camera store for an afternoon and finally decided to buy this. It is one of very few bags that meet these requirements: - Lightweight ( 3lb). - Fits a 13 laptop. - Fits a DSLR + a mirrorless camera + 6 lenses in various sizes. - Not exaggeratively large. This backpack fits my Canon DSLR, Sony mirrorless, and 6 lenses in different sizes. If I arrange it more tightly, it can even fit an additional 70-200 f/4 telephoto lens. A 13 laptop or 12.9 iPad Pro fits neatly. In addition, it has another dedicated slot for 9.7 iPad. I haven't carried it outdoors, but I can foresee that the accessibility may not be as good as other bags that have side and back doors. But those bags are usually more expensive and heavier. 5 |

This the exact case I was looking for when I first got my Sony DSLR, however, Sony only had the backpack available. I bought the backpack and I love it but I wanted something a little less bulky/awkward for running around sight seeing. Recently while preparing for a trip, I started looking at cases of this design again and found out the Sony makes one now so I bought it. It is just as good quality as the backpack. Adequate amount of storage for a quick out and about trip. I used it across the shoulder. I absolutely love this case!! 5 |

It worked for me. i packed my laptop in my usual backpack, but there was more than enough space for my 3-day trip. I especially liked the side pocket for power cords, tech stuff, etc. and the shoe pocket worked as advertised. I am disappointed, however, in the lack of any printed guide (besides the very small and inadequate tag) to show the correct place to put your stuff. I traveled by automobile, so I did not have to contend with overhead luggage space and that annoyance. In short, I liked it, but could have used a little help with such a sophisticated bag. 5 |

You can pack your entire week trip in one of this, the fact that you can also fit your laptop and gadgets makes it the perfect backpack for any occasion. 5 |

I bought this backpack because I typically have to travel with two laptops - one for work, and my own personal. Even though this wasn't how the laptop sleeve was designed, I'm actually able to fit two 15" macbook pros and still zip the top pocket with no issues. I also love the modular nature of all the adjustable interior panels. Each trip I'm almost always carrying my laptops and my Sony A73 + extra lens, and I'll also have my noise cancelling headphones with a few items that vary trip by trip. But I've always been able to adjust the compartments to fit what I needed which Peak Design made super easy with how the top flap can adjust to fit more or less depending on the load. Its also been super ergnomic to carry even when I'm fully loaded - the straps are really comfortable, with the chest strap adding extra security for the time's i've had to sprint through an airport to make a tight layover. I almost always take advantage of the back slot that you can slide over a rolling suit case handle and the magnetic straps to just set the bag on top my luggage. This is super helpful saving my back when I've got the bag fully loaded and am on a long trip. I also love how unbranded the bag is, which makes it feel like less of a target for theft. Other stand out features are the magnetic flap closure, the internal pockets to store various components for my camera or laptop, and the waterproof exterior. This backpack is a swiss army knife built with so much thought and detail. Highly recommend for anyone on the go who carries a bunch of gear with them and want something durable and versatile. 5 |

Wonderfully portable. I just took it on a business trip and it easily fit in my laptop backpack (along with 2 laptops). Easy on the eyes. I've used it as a second monitor for coding and as part of my photographic workflow with box. For certain applications I like the definition on this monitor better than my Retina displays. It is a nice new tool. 5 |
