This lens is proof that advanced manufacturing techniques have allowed mere mortals to own some really decent glass. I own many Nikon lenses going back 40 years. When I began to transition into video last year, I become aware of cine lenses and their advantages. Of course, the prices were shocking. How glad I was to find the existing reviews on the Rokinon offerings that put them into the serious category. I have to agree. I picked this lens up on a B&H daily deal and am super impressed with the build and image quality. This thing has super smooth focus and aperture rings and it is tack sharp. This is not a technical review, per se. I'm just sharing my impressions after having used dozens of lenses in the wedding and portrait business. I'm just reporting that for the price, I can use this lens. It is not disappointingly soft like you might expect out of a sub-$500 lens. I would say it's a can't go wrong lens.

I use Ilford Fiber paper a lot for my classes especially working with advanced darkroom techniques. It's exceptional if you know how to use it and the prints are incredible quality. It honestly comes down to your experience. If you know how to use it, handle it, and dry it properly, you're set. 35mm, 120, Medium & Large format friendly.

been using this with a pair of MXL CR21 mics to record classical guitar, paired with these mics it captures the finest of details with crystal clear quality, my only complaint is the lack of stock from being sold out but from my experience only takes around 5 weeks from a backorder which is not bad

I placed it carefully inside my classical guitar where it connects to the pre-amp in addition to the pick-up that it comes with. It works very nicely as it grabs the sound echoed by the guitar itself to complement the sound from the strings on the saddle.

This is my first time to buy a foot stool because I'm not really a classical guitar player. I just need one just to record one of my songs for which I play classical guitar. So I'm not familiar with foot stools, but I think this is very much good enough for my use, so I'm happy with it. And it was a good price for me, too.

I mainly record Pipe Organ and other classical type music from all guitar to a full orchestra if necessary...and even an occasional thunderstorm complete with hail! With the volume set right and you put the headphones on and take them off, the sound is basically identical. They are comfortable, fold up and one serious plus to me is the 3 different types of wire feeds a coiled cord, a long straight cord and a short one when it is used in close quarters. This is an excellent set of headphones for the money, I recommend them pretty highly.

The C411pp produces a reasonably accurate reproduction of the sound of my O-hole mandolin and classical guitar. The signal is strong (I set the guitar below unity), giving me plenty of headroom on my mixer. The pickup goes on easily and comes off easily. I wish the putty was a little less sticky; you have to be careful to get if all off the surface of the instrument.

Works very well on my Cordoba nylon string classical guitar. Firm pressure, grip is effective but doesn't damage anything. Easy to use.
