Advantage Of Ipad Over Android Tablet

Although I already own an Android tablet, I've wanted an iPad for a long time. Since I already own an iPhone and just bought a new Mac Air, I finally sprung for an iPad and am now happily navigating a complete Apple ecosystem. The iPad is ideal for reading books, checking the latest news, shopping, and just browsing the Internet when I'm on the go or just don't want to open my Mac. As always with Apple, the build is exceptional, the screen is gorgeous when I'm watching videos or movies, and using the tablet is very intuitive. I'd highly recommend this iPad to anyone who wants a workhorse of a daily tablet that's also great-looking and easy to use.

Great with iPad tablet

After my 2'nd Samsung Tablet (in 5 years) broke, I decided to give Apple a try. This is my first apple product. I've always been a windows (pc) and Android ( tablet/phone) user, so when I needed a new tablet, I figured I'd give apple a try. $329.00 is cheap to try the apple eco system.... IOS seems a bit more restrictive than Android (maybe that's a learning curve ?)... but, so far, I am very impressed. From a user interface/usability standpoint, it is much more enjoyable to use than my Samsung (Android) tablet, albeit the Samsung was 3 years old. Very seemless integration with my Microsoft One Drive Cloud storage/MS office products. Got the apple pencil as well.... Why not ! I'll probably always stay with Windows OS for a pc, but may take a bite of the apple when I get a new pbone...

Over the past nine months I have used three of these in conjunction with Canon 600EX-RTs set up as groups on stands with auto folding legs, radios, tablet and various multiple head brackets so that more than one speedlight can be used on each stand. During commerical shoots (e.g. company annual/sustainability reports), the advantage of multiple heads (that can be directed in different directions) on one or more stands represents a huge advantage on location in terms of ease of set-up, set-up speed (allowing more time to take the shot) and health and safety (no mains cables). Frankly, the Turbo 3s make this all possible and I would rate this product as being one of the few entirely trouble free bits of gear that I deploy. I fly extensively and this arrangement saves me about 15 kgs in excess baggage over travelling with three mains strobes. Given the number of flights I make in a year, this really adds up to be a considerable cost saving as well. I believe they represent a pretty fair deal.

I purchased it to add a mouse feature to an android tablet. It connected right away and works great.

I bought an Android tablet, put a hard plastic case around it, glued a quick-release plate to the case, and I use this arm to mount the tablet to my rig for use as a field monitor. The arm is much stronger than I expected it to be. I bought it because I'm broke and I figured that for this price, it wouldn't break me if it didn't hold... But it does hold... It easily holds the weight of a Google Nexus 10, its case, and the Manfrotto RC2 quick-release. I can hot-show mount it on my 5D2 or mount it anywhere I can find a 1/4-20 hole. So, I'm psyched that I made the buy.

So easy to set up. Desktop, iPad, and Android phone all backup.
