on an FX3, this is an amazing combination for docustyle filmmaking. the FX3's great low light ability turns the f4 aperture a non-issue, and the lens is quite light and small. for video this lens is very modern: it autofocuses masterfully and silently, it's practically parfocal and does not have any issues with breathing. with the modern Sony camera's ibis the lack of OSS is not at all a proboem and with the FX3 the 'controlled' camera shake with active stab and this lens makes it very naturally looking. i wholeheartedly recommend getting this lens if you're looking for a very powerful yet compact and light solution for your FX3 or similar. 5 |

If you want to do pro level photography/filmmaking but do not have thousands of dollars to invest in a camera and lenses, I strongly recommend the RX10 mk4. Check out Wildlife Filmmaking 5 on YouTube for stills and video shot with the RX10. 5 |

This camera is one of my workhorse for narrative filmmaking. The key to any camera is knowing it's limitations and how to work with it. I've used this from bright sunny days to low light night street scenes and of course with the right lighting and exposure, the URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 has 15 stops of dynamic range I can work with. I'd shoot with this camera over the URSA 12K when I don't need anything more than 4K to deliver. Best of all, the BRAW is so flexible that I can match shots with other more expensive cameras including the ARRI Alexa, which on some productions, we do so. This is currently the only cinema camera from BlackMagic Design that is approved on the Netflix Original films list of approve cams. 5 |

This camera is absolutely wonderful through and through! It can pretty much handle just about anything you might through at in terms of low budget filmmaking! The 10bit color and rolling shutter fixes are by far the greatest features/upgrades from the A7s II in my opinion. 5 |

This is an obvious extension for a camera I believe will be very dominant in the documentary filmmaking field. But it is equally clear that we need a good cage, good filters and maybe even extension battery recharging from a small accessory attached to the cage -- and yes, this filter accessory is ONLY the very beginning. Sturdy, well made and for me it will always be attached with the sun shade. 5 |

I bought this set mostly for digital filmmaking. It handles up to 29lbs camera with no problem. A fully rigged RED ONE and 5D2 with cine rig have been tested out, it worked like a charm. Due to the non-spreader design, it would take a lot space when you need to reach a high angle, always sandbag it when you put it on a doorway dolly. I would say it's as good as advertised. 5 |
