After Market Stereo

I use this for my camera stereo recording setup. I don't like mono (boring) sound. this is, to me, the best there is in the market to deliver excellent stereo sound for camera in a small package that can be easily mounted on my camera.

This monopod is the best on the market, very versatile, sturdy and easy to use! After using it for the first time, I immediately ordered another one.

After many years of haveing one VP88, I needed another stereo mic for my 2nd camera. Giving me the best audio in the field, it was a no brainer to get a 2nd one. I am so happy they still had this mic for sale. I own about eight different mic's and by far the VP88 is the best.

After doing research for a basic stereo receiver I chose the Sony STR-DH190 due to the impressive list of features including the phono input, Bluetooth, and the higher wattage output versus other similar receivers. I have attached my recently restored turntable to the receiver as well as a CD player and the sound is just fantastic! I particularly enjoy the ability to activate the receiver via Bluetooth from my smartphone and immediately begin streaming music - a great feature! Overall the Sony STR-DH190 is an excellent value and I use it every day.

I spent a lot of time researching a wireless speaker system to replace my old stereo system. After much debate, I settled on the Sonos Play 5. Let me say, I was NOT disappointed! The sound from this speaker is amazing. Set up is easy, and functionality is exceptional.

My son, the engineer, bought one. After hearing it, he bought another and paired the two for stereo. adding a sub would sound awesome. I just retired and in our winter vacation home, I want to only stream Sirius wirelessly throughout the home. So my first purchase was the Studio Five. I intend to buy more, plus a sound bar and sub.

After a cumbersome set up (Stereo instructions challenged I am) the Walkman worked great. Very solid and love the external controls (much like a classic Walkman). Setting up the Walkman was not intuitive and I still fumble around trying to set up Bluetooth connections, etc. Once set up it was fine. I was able to download my music from iTunes (from my MAC) but via a third party app. Do feel that this is a great replacement for my bulky iPod. The cassette tape visual is a nice touch. Very pleased with my purchase despite the setup hiccups.

I needed to replace my existing stereo cabling with longer ones. After researching various brands, I decided to try the Kopul brand. I'm happy I did. These cables are high quality and reasonably priced. Attached are pictures from the product packaging that shows the construction of the cable wire and plug. I was so pleased with these cables that I bought six of them.

After searching for weeks for the right delay I finally settled on the timefactor and could not be happier. I use it 2 ways, as the last effect on my pedalboard with stereo INS and stereo outs feeding two amps and from the send to the return of each of two amps. The timefactor works great in both uses. The ability to choose the mix of both dry and delay is great. The ability to use two seperate delay lines is like having two delay lines in one. I also like the three options for bypass type allowing you to use the peal as a buffer in your chain or going full true bypass. For the money this is one of the most versatile units available, and with the quality of eventide behind it, you cannot go wrong.

I was looking for a quality stereo shotgun mic for my camera rig but it needed to be short enough to fit. After trying out the Polsen mic I was really happy with my decision. The gain is substantial enough and when mixed with my wireless mic the sound is great. The all metal body was a nice addition. It comes with a fixed shock absorbing base that doesn't adjust in any way and I wish it did so I could rotate the mic to my liking. However, that's my only complaint. Hopefully the button battery lasts for a while.
