After Windows Update Laptop Not Working

We had an issue with an old adapter for a 3rd monitor Setup after a recent Windows Update. After we could never get it to work consistently and 2 different Staff setups. After installation of the StarTech Slim USB 3.0 to HDMI External Video Card Multi Monitor Adapter we have had no more issues. Works Great! You should purchase and purchase from B&H Photo!! No one is better than B&H!!!!

After a recent Windows update caused display driver issues, I needed to change to a different video input and my display didn't have built in support for DisplayPort. While it took a minor reconfigure for Windows to recognize the new connection, it's been working perfectly ever since.

I recently upgraded the OS on an old Windows laptop from Win 7 to Win 8.1.  After the update, I found that the SD card reader in the laptop no longer worked.  A BIOS and/or driver update was needed, which the manufacturer no longer supported. This SD to USB reader came to the rescue!   Transfer speed is excellent.  It is also fully compatible with my UHS-I SD cards and USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports. Highly recommended and five stars!

My computer front ports stopped working with a Windows 10 update, and I could not get them to work again. But my rear 3.1 ports were working fine. So I saw this little unit, and bought it at B&H's low price. It's plug and play, and functions perfectly. I plugged it into a rear port, and double-sided taped it to the computer top. It has a power button that once turned on, never has to be used again. Turn the computer off, turn it on again, and the hub powers up with the computer. Perfect, and an easy fix! I can high-speed transfer to my USB sticks again!

After being skeptical about it working with Windows 7 I contacted Pioneer & they assured me it would work with Windows 7 which it did... Fast burner at 4x speed for my blu-rays.. I burn at least once a day... Expect it to last at least a year as the other 2 mentioned conked out after 10 months... Warranty expired on them so I had to trash them...

I can’t say enough good things about this laptop. It’s lightweight, looks amazing, and runs like a dream. After some recent misadventures with Windows 11 powered laptops and all they sleep issues, high temps, and poor battery performance this is like waking up from a bad dream. Everything just works as they say. I still think it’s crucial to run at least 16gb of ram which is why I chose this model. All in all and excellent choice for every day computing.

Bought this monitor to hook up to my laptop that I use for both gaming and work. With the 27inch monitor I'm able to pull up two windows while working and still see what I am working on. With the 144hz my monitor can keep pace with the output of my laptops gpu. Overall I am happy with purchase.

So far working great. Will update after more use.

After some trial and error, new mesh is working well. Suggest to setup on laptop using mywifinet.local instead of using app
