On/Off switch - Automatically goes off when closing down computer and you can use it to charge something.

This is a review of a free product received from TP-LINK for testing and feedback as part of their review program. I replaced a standard manual wall switch with the HS200 Smart Switch. So now my Living Room Chandelier is connected by Wi-Fi to the Internet and can be remotely controlled using my Smartphone or Tablet from anywhere in the world. I had a single switch wall box which turned a large decorative Living Room Chandelier On/Off. I replaced that manual switch with the HS200 Smart Switch. Since the Chandelier is visible to the street, through a window, I reasoned that having it controlled by a Smart Switch could help deter burglars. I had no problems installing the HS200. My existing single switch wall box had a Neutral Line and I used the plastic HS200 Switch Plate. As for manual operation, a gentle tap on the large rectangular button turns the HS200 On or Off. It's a momentary switch. Very little movement is needed to toggle between On and Off. An internal glowing circle of light makes it easy to locate the Smart Switch in a dark room. Below the main HS200 On/Off switch are two small rectangular buttons. RESET for an App or Factory Reset. RESTART to reboot. The HS200 works with Kasa, a free Android and iOS app. Kasa on your Smartphone or Tablet can turn the Smart Switch On/Off locally and remotely. Voice commands work on Amazon Alexa devices (Echo, Echo Dot, Tap). With Alexa, multiple TP-LINK Smart Switches and Plugs can be grouped under one name. HS200 Wi-Fi operates on the 2.4GHz band. That gives it a good Wi-Fi range and makes it compatible with all routers. If the 5GHz band had been used, the speed increase would have been inconsequential, but the range would have been less and older routers wouldn't have been accommodated. I've been using TP-LINK HS100 and HS110 Smart Plugs to automate my home for several months. They have worked great. My Smart Plugs control a fan, desk lamp, air conditioner, and TP-LINK NC250 Security Camera.

If your computer is not loaded with USB ports, here's your solution. An On/Off switch for each port.

The flash and the controller work great together. Easy to pair, easy to use. Off camera flash is an easy way to upgrade sports photography. Would recommend.

The switch was quickly adopted by the controller and was up and running in a few minutes.

Works fine as a outlet. Easy to setup. Would like to be able to turn the light and off with its switch but cannot because the plug is the power source. Always have to use Siri to turn on and off. Not really any problem.

We love this wi-fi light switch! We had looked at getting Wink hub and bulbs awhile ago but ended up not because the only way to turn the on or off was with our phones, and we didn't want that. We wanted the option to either use our phone or a switch. So after we had gotten an Amazon Echo Dot and stumbled across this Alexa-compatible switch, we took a chance on it. Installation was pretty straight-forward, pretty much the same as a regular light switch. Once I got in installed I set up an account and added this switch and it worked right off. I then got it set up to work with Alexa and since then we haven't used our phones with this once, we always just tell Alexa to turn it on or off or we physically hit the switch if we're over near it. We like how the switch is a physical switch that clicks and springs back and not just a touch pad. Maybe others feel different but we like the feel of a switch. We haven't yet tried it out when the wi-fi has been down so I'm curious to if the physical switch will still control the lights without wi-fi. Mount it, plug it in, and turn on the switch -- it just works. A light purple visible light is an indication that UV is being transmitted, tested it with my Transitions eye lenses. Kindly check if the bulb is connected properly as mine was shipped disconnected, presumably for safety purposes.

These smart switches are great! Ive got 2 of these wired up to exterior sconce lights set to come on at sunrise, and youre off at sunset. The built in light sensors on the lights wouldnt work well because the lights are in the shade and would turn on most of the day. And now I dont have to worry about adjusting the on/off settings constantly with the changing of time/darkness. The 3rd switch is installed for a main light in a front room. I set it to turn on/off randomly while Im away at work for 24/hr, and also while on vacation. Installation was fairly simple. They do take up a little more space than a regular switch in the box and require a neutral (white wire) to install. Setup was a breeze with the Kasa app, and still works well even though the signal is fairly weak at one location. Kasa app is easy to use and has plenty of functions. Highly recommend these, and also the smart outlets.

TPLink's kasa has all features to schedule and remotely turn on/off my light switch. The integration with Alexa makes it more useable. Easy to install and setup on newer homes light switches.
