Bought this over the other aftermarket brands purely because of battery life. I mostly shoot lectures and seminars that often are all day events. I wanted to have to change my batteries as few times as possible during an event and so I was willing to spend the extra money for the genuine Panasonic. 5 |

After running into problems with the off brands, I decided to by the original. These Pentax batteries last longer than aftermarket and work together in a dual setup with the additional grip. I had an issue with my K-7 shutting off when the aftermarket battery was draining and the factory one was full (in movie mode). Using two Pentax batteries fixed my issue. 5 |

I've used multiple brands of aftermarket batteries over the years, but none give quite the same peace of mind, or performance as using OEM. I've had some come pretty close, but there always seem to be a slight compromise in battery life, charging, or communication with the camera. The original even matches the texture of the body of the 1DX MkII, which may not seem important to some, but I'm a bit OCD. 5 |

I have a Sony A7IV and had a A7III before that so I have had a few different types of aftermarket brands to supplement the extra Sony batteries for this camera. I really like these the best so far. I would recommend them based on what I have seen. The big question with the aftermarket batteries for me has been how long they live. The Sony batteries have been better let's hope these work out.
