Aftermarket Head Unit Wiring Harness

I needed to make a wiring harness to fit in a fairly small space and these connectors were great for the application.

I'm a composer and have a studio in my home apartment. The building was built in the 1930s and has old wiring and very few outlets. This unit has allowed me to safely power all of my studio equipment without breaking the bank.

I had difficulty wiring it, but because the old thermostat was hooked up poorly. Now that the issue was resolved, the unit is great! Easy to use, and remotely as well.

Surprisingly this is a good solid unit for the price! Instructions are clear and to the point,wiring from the unit at both connections very well reinforced . Only small negative issue viewing screen maybe at time a bit hard to view with some of it's figures .

Great way to clean up all the wiring in the back of your unit and get clean power as well. Just make sure to ground it if you're running audio to eliminate/reduce that 60Hz hum.

I find the clearance for the wiring to be very snug and somewhat difficult to extract old battery and new unit installed. I did really like the unit return lable at no cost, local fee is $10.00

Most of you are wondering if this is worth the big ticket price of the unit. I personally have tried the aftermarket power packs and found them to be poorly made and poor fitting. This said I still don't think this product should be this expensive but it is and it works, looks, fits and feels great on my D750. If you truly are a serious about your gear just suck it up and get what works the first time. I am truly happy with my purchase.

This unit lets me fit the camera on my tripod (which I rarely do) but also lets me attach my aftermarket strap to both of my cameras.

I've used another well-known brand before and an aftermarket type of this head with 400 and 500mm lens. Save your money, skip them and buy this one. Smooth is an understatement and the build quality is second to none. For the price, it should include a lens plate though.

Everything looks much better now that the wiring is organized.
