I have been using Ilford film since the end of Agfa Pan. A wonderful film that I now use exclusively.

Love having this black and white film/reusable camera. I like the fact that the film has not expired yet too.

Great to see a brand new real film camera available from this venerable brand name. Note you can buy the exact same one from Agfa, Kodak or other brands you have never heard of. I hope someday somebody will make and SLR again. It's a novelty item, but fun to use.

The Kalt AGFA 8x Loupe is a great value for price. Excellent for working on 35mm slides as it covers the entire frame. Some loss of focus on the edge but primary subject area is complete;y covered.

If you need a review of a lens cap I should point out that they are reusable.

Great battery and I'am using it with an Arriflex 35BL2 35mm film camera.

Rollei/Agfa Retro 80 is an aerographic film with extended IR sensitivity. This is what I like for the landscape photography. Moderate red filter, like B+W 090 (not as deep as for IR photography), or a yellow one, should provide lighter greens and darker skys. I shoot just one roll and developed, as recommended by Rollei in ADOX developer 1:31 for 8' at 20C. The film appeared high contrast to the eye, however scanned pictures on the monitor appear perfect. The as-scanned, (not manipulated) example is shown here. I did not make any paper copies yet. The film is flat, does not curl, but I do not like the plastic square package, think the standard. round, metal boxes are better.

I've been using this film for several years by now. I've decided to make it the only film I'll use. It's less expensive than FP4 or Agfa APX 100. It yields finer grain than it's box rating would lead you to expect. I love the contrast it gives me, which I assume results for an s-shaped characteristic curve. Better results when cropping and more dramatic photos. This seems to make it less forgiving of slight errors in exposure. It has a transparent base and lays flat on a scanner. I use Rodinal (1:50)@50 ISO.

I use this with my mirrorless camera and the Essential Film Holder. I scan tons of 35mm film and this light works perfectly.
