Air Conditioners Units

I have had a number of Furman power conditioners in the past 30 years. The pl has always been my favorite. I have had some cheaper power conditioners also and they are not conditioners whatsoever. All they are.. are exaggerated power strips.. and when you pick them up you will see the weigh less than a pound.. because most of the electronics are missing in the chassis. Not so with the Furman units. Furman units are very heavy because they have actual electronics in them like filters and other things that are going to be making sure the power is conditioned correctly. They shut down upon overload and the filter make sure there is no buzz or hum in the line. You cannot go wrong with a PL plus and B&H has the lowest price in the country!!

I often record in my apartment or at the studio where I work - there is a ton of background noise like traffic, air conditioners, and creaky floors. The high pass filter for perfect for filtering those consistent background hums. Of course, a little fancy editing too. Arrived right in the delivery window, customer service from B&H is great as always.

I bought this location kit after purchasing the single light unit..I loaded the latest update for the these two B1 units an also loaded the HSS (high speed sync) code on the Air Remote TTL-C..this is ultimately the best investment I have ever made. I'm not one to make a big deal about light units, or think there is optimally one brand superior than the rest, but Profoto is doing it right!! I will be very honest buy saying that if you can afford this kit don't hesitate....you will not be disappointed. You should also purchase the Air Remote with these units...if not, you will not be able to use all the functions on the B1's

Gator makes nice equipment; sturdy and these units include an air/piston assist that sure does come in handy for setting height. the head supplied does not tilt, so i found the QuikLok DSP-390s to work well. i’ll keep the others in bag for when i need them.

We have bought enough canned air in the past to have bought several of these DataVac Duster units. We use it to remove debris from all our keyboards, and other hard to reach places. Thanks for a great product.

I have 3 of these units and an Air 1 Commander. I use them with my Sony a6000 and Wescott Apollo light modifiers. Easy to set up and easy to configure the 3 flashes into 1, 2 or 3 groups,depending on the light setup I want. Someone more limited that the Canon EX600s I use with my 5DM3 (3 groups instead of 5, full stop power increments instead of ) but still very versatile and useful at a fraction of the price.

Yes, power conditioners are boring. If you only have a laptop and an audio interface, you may even feel they are unnecessary. However, once you get more gear, you definitely need clean power to supply it all. If you have operated without one, and then add one in, it can clean up things that you did not fully notice before. I already use one of these, but I had to get another for a second gear set I'm building.

We've been buying Furman power conditioners for years and really like them. The voltmeter is really handy, and this unit has helped us with the dirty power issues we have in our building.
