Air Flight Control Game

I am not a serious gamer, but the next best thing to actual flying is a flight simulator or an air combat game. And no one flies using a computer keyboard! After much thinking and review research, I took a huge chance. Other retailers wanted sky high prices, but not giving up, over several days, B&H Video, of all places in New York City, which is a world away from Spokane, Washington, had the Thrustmaster at a very reasonable price. And without asking, did not charge me shipping. What company does that today! Oh, by the way, out of the box, into a USB port, nothing else to do but enjoy the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will definitely purchase from B&H again. I'm looking for that special pair of binoculars!

This is a must have for flight sims, I use it exclusively for DCS and my warbird game has improved dramatically. Having Toe brakes is essential for taxiing and for F-14 carrier ops. They're super comfortable and I rest my feet on them even when I'm just messing around on my pc. It seems outrageous to spend this kinda money on something that is supplemented with twist sticks for beginner but I can assure you your ability and immersion will improve with this set up.

I wanted to play a newer flight game on my pc and my older joystick was not recognized by Windows 11 after research I purchased this one all good here I'm now flying the skies again. I reviewed several controllers for the game; looking for ease of use and assigning buttons to flight controls. In addition, I didn't want to break the bank. What a surprise! Hotas 4 was automatically accepted by the Sim with almost all buttons assigned, ready to fly! With a tweak after visiting the Thrustmaster site for updates, I was up flying in a few minutes.

I was playing Flight Simulator 2020 with a controller and then I bought the Warthog. It's almost like playing a different game now. The planes felt more erratic with the controller, but now the plane feels a lot more stable.

I needed a flight stick type joystick for the new game coming out SC and a few other space combat titles. I needed combat funtionality and good response. This joystick had a good number of buttons and they were well placed. The base is solid and gives me a stable base. They are programmable and I was able to reassign them in the game. I also use a voice command program which makes using it even better since it lets me use the joystick almost exlusively for critical functions. Being able to twist it to roll is very important for good flying especially for games that have black out during high-g maneuvers. The only con is the hat is a bit stiff and very linear and doesnt allow fluid rolling of the hat. The styling is nothing to write home about but I'm all about functionality anyway. I think it's a great buy for my money and feeling good about playing all the new space sims coming out soon with it.

Just received my second battery, thank you B&H delivery was really fast. I suggest if your own a Mavic Air 2 get another battery so you can really enjoy the flight time.

I've gone through several DJI drone products over the years and have flown them thousands of times. As a Part 107 UAS pilot, my work has encompassed everything from real estate and weddings to commercial productions and promotional videos to government survey work. When I changed over to the Mavic 3 Classic (I have no need for the dual camera model) I was amazed at the size/weight of the flight batteries. I was more accustomed to the drop-in from the top type with models like the Air 2 and Air 2S drones I use for smaller operations. The feature that really caught my attention was the flight time. 46 minutes in normal operation in standard weather conditions and 40 minutes at a hover. I hardly ever have a need to hover that long, but I discovered, while hovering just at 400 feet at a fireworks display, I kept watching the battery guage and the numbers hardly moved. I kept it in a constant hover for 21 minutes and had more than enough power to RTH even though I was about a half mile away. Dark night and bright anti-collision LEDS made keeping it in site easy. I usually buy 4 or 5 flight batteries for my other drones because of the rather short flying time. I only need 2 of these.

I was looking for a minimalist leather vertical laptop case for my sleek new PowerBook Air when I saw the Mac-Case Flight Jacket. I ride the train to work most days and was looking for a bag that didn't take a lot of room but would protect my Air and iPad in style. The Mac-Case Flight Jacket fits the bill PERFECTLY! First of all, this case is tight, literally. My MacBook Air fits snugly in the nicely padded pocket. Be aware, if you have a hard-case on your laptop it might not fit (in my estimation). It also has another compartment where I keep my iPad Mini which has a protective case and barely fits in the pocket. There is a removable front pocket that will hold a charger and a couple of sync cables - but not much more. Fortunately, the battery on the MacBook Air last well enough that I don't need a power supply for daily use so I can use that pocket for a power bank for my iOS devices and an external HDD. I am very impressed with the initial build quality of the case. B&H had it for a great price and the shipping was on-time. Great purchasing experience all around.
