Air Hogs Drone With Camera Review

Worked great in my Mavic Air drone.

I bought this Air 3 to upgrade my Air2S. It is a great little drone. It flys about the same as the Air2S so I dont know how much of an upgrade it really is. They are both great drones. The camera is a little more capable with its two lens choices or should I say two camera choices. It has a little smaller sensor than the Air2S but you cant tell it. It takes just as good quality photos and video. They both are so much handier than the Phantom 4's that I started with.

This makes it so much easier to keep the drone up in the air for more flights. Ease of charging makes it worth it.

So far so good. I use it with my DJI Air 2S Fly Drone and it definitely does the job.

It works! This battery keeps the drone in the air, just like it should. Thumbs up. Also a very reasonable price.

I have had this camera for about 6 months now. I was having issues at first because I just stuck an old sd card in there. Bad idea. Buy the right sd card and format it the way they recommended. It was a very simple process. After I did that correctly the thing works amazing. It has saved my farm from hogs. I have a thermal scope and the camera sends me a pic when the hogs walk in front it and I can go out there and manage them. Makes it very simple and I don’t have to stay up all night. Camera works great. I will probably buy the one with the built in solar panel and rechargeable battery pack next! Hopefully in the near future i will buy the solar pack that they sell for this camera as well. I have got 9 hogs in 2 weeks! The app is very simple to use as well. My father has the tactacam , that’s the only other camera i have for reference, and the spypoint app is so much easier and has better settings. You also get 100 free photos a month and if you want more you can purchase more. Great job SPYPOINT!

I had waited to acquire a drone until the Air 2s became available, because it had the set of tools I wanted. Unfortunately, I dinged it, and was looking for an even better replacement, as a number of new DJI drones came out since... I looked at a LOT of reviews and videos online, and I looked at those with a skeptic eye - seemed like everyone was some sort of influencer, which doesn't really set well with me in my decision to acquire a drone. Looking at the specs, information, and data available through B&H gave me the best overall information that I wanted to know. Some tips and tricks online had been useful, but B&H was the absolute most useful data. Finding the Manual for the drone, and reading through that in detail, and then rewatching some videos answered more questions that I had. Two of the videos that I saw, demonstrated things to NOT do with your drone, as they each lost their drone in the process, one crashed into a tree, and the other had someone ride a bike (accidentally) across the drone... which was oddly enough, still flyable. The DJI Mini 4 Pro had the Remote ID that I need for where I fly, close to an airport. It is the first drone with Omnidirectional Avoidance... but I know that it cannot see a power line or some smaller branches well enough, this drone gives a very good amount of warning of things which are close. The drone is lighter and quieter than the Air 2s was, in almost not altitude, I cannot really hear it in our rural area. The video screen controller is fantastic, and the available cases and covers for it allow me to protect it very well. I have been making a lot of use with the Mini 4 Pro as we are having a new roof put on our home. Of note, I have YET to need to change the battery for the work I am doing with it, but I am certainly happy that I picked up the version with the Fly More Combo Plus.

It works fine recording 4k video in my DJI Mavic Air drone.
