This is a great way to turn a really nice light stand into a perfect mic stand! I have a heavy and expensive microphone and don't always trust a lightweight mic stand for it. This allows me to use my Matthews light stand which is every bit as good as purchasing a heavyweight mic stand... maybe better! 5 |

The Good thing I found it in this stand, is the on/off switch. You can turn on the condenser microphone silently without any noise. This feature is difficult to find it in any on/off switch in condenser microphone. 5 |

I'm using this product as a microphone stand, and I couldn't be happier. The air-cushoning is a great feature. This stand opens up easily, and leaves a sturdy footprint for flying the mics high. I also have a ten foot stand that is just as rugged, but this new stand - besides being extendable 3 feet higher - even collapses 5 shorter than my older stand. Great price, sturdy, compact.......niiiiice! 5 |

I bought this to use as a microphone stand, and it works quite well for that. It's really reasonably priced and extends even higher than I needed. The air-cushioning mechanism is lovely, and when fully extended, the tripod-like legs feel secure. I definitely am not complaining, given how reasonable the cost is. 5 |
