I purchased this case to use with my akai mpk49 midi controller keyboard and couldn't be happier with my purchase. The case is alittle big for my keyboard with about 4-5in of space on each side but with the large thick padded straps it holds down the keyboard tight. The case is very durable with thick canvas and large zippers. There are two pouches on the front, top most pouch is mesh so you can see whats in it which is great for cables and misc items for easy access and portablitly. Overall I couldn't ask for more, this case has it all! 5 |

+ I bought this Akai MPK Mini MKII MIDI controller because I tend to have a creative itch that I have to scratch sometimes and lugging my Akai MPK25 can be tedious if you know the size and weight compared to this MPK Mini MKII, which is about 3 times the depth, twice the height, and a little wider too, but the weight is like quardruple at least. I work with FL Studio for producing music and this helps me mess around and build some songs. + What I love about it is not only its compactness, They give you enough controls to work with. You can't go all out, but you can get plenty done with this model when on the go. It fits in my Think Tank Urban Disguise 60 V2.0 bag, along with my 15' Sony VAIO laptop, Wacom Intuos Pro SE Medium tablet, and a Cooler Master cooling pad. Adds almost an unnoticeable weight. The pads are definitely more responsive than the MPK25 actually. + What I don't like about it is that the dials have a min and max. I honestly like the infinite dials. I tweaked my Lightroom to accept and map MIDI controller for use in Lightroom (ex: having an dial to control your basic adjustments). I can't really use this for that purpose, but the MPK 25 works very nicely for that reason. I'm excited that B&H is about to sell Loupedeck this upcoming August 2017! + Overall? This is a nice treat to have for anyone who messes with music producing. When I found out such a thing existed (I'm kinda late), I had to order one immediately! 5 |

Not too big and holds what I need! I use the small outside pouch for my AKAI MPK mini MIDI controller and the main bag holds my laptop, mics, cables, small speakers and there is room for more! Excellent construction. Zippers are quality too. I use this bag to . hold my portable recording rig and gear. Bag is fully padded and all around great product! 5 |

I must admit, the first time I unboxed the instrument, I was amazed at the build quality. It has some heft, the keys are properly and ergonomically placed and you know Akai really took their time to perfect this wind controller. But as a long time saxophone player, the first time I actually played some scales, I was quite disappointed - it didn't feel like a saxophone. I was beginning to regret my purchase and thought about exchanging it for the WX5. So I gave it a few more days. Days turned to weeks, and I am beginning to appreciate this instrument. Keep practicing those scales, breathing with the mouthpiece and you realize how this is such an amazing wind controller. I made a mistake thinking that this is a replacement for a saxophone in an apartment situation. In reality, you should think about how this instrument can be an extension to your musical endeavors. The possibilities you can do with the sounds and playability are endless. There are a few usable synths prebuilt, but I suggest using the Akai EWI 5000 Editor to really play and edit your sounds then save it to the user bank. Also there are synths out there that can be used if you plug the EWI as just a midi wind controller; unfortunately you can't upload other synth sounds into the controller. Definitely give it some time to get used to the instrument especially moving from one octave to another. Keep practicing and you'll appreciate that there's hardly any moving parts here. I was opposed at it first since horns have that tactile and key feedback. But with the touch sensitivity, it really felt I was playing an instrument from the future. Again, you just have to get used to it - think about when mobile phones shift from physical keyboards to the modern phones we have today. And here I am today still keeping my purchase and writing a review. I thank Akai for making a top-notch wind controller and continuing the support for the modern electronic wind musician. 5 |

I have a midi studio and was looking for a small pad controller. I had an Akai MPD 18 that I hated. You had to hit the pads so hard, your fingers would hurt. I found the Korg Nano Pad2 and I love it. It has great pad sensitivity. Plug and play with Live and other software I have.Is it plastic, yes, but well made for $ 5 |

This is a PERFECT fit for an Akai MPK88. Looks much nicer than the grey model I have for another controller. No real cons, does what it's designed to do and does it well. Note: This is a cloth DUST cover...it won't protect your gear from impacts or spills. 5 |

Bought this to mix audio sources (CD etc.) with my Akai MPK mini play keyboard audio out. Works great. I enjoy playing along with music. Very quiet and no distortion. Covered the bright power LED with tape. 5 |

Admittedly, I don't use this for an effects pedal. I bought it to fit my Akai Miniak keyboard and it fits like a glove in this case (the Gator synth case was too small), and the price is reasonable. The case has high-quality canvas-nylon material and heavy-duty zippers, guaranteed to keep your equipment safe. There is also front pocket that will store cables and other accessories. 5 |
