Akg Perception 220 Condenser Microphone Price

I bought the AKG C3000 primarily because I was looking for a decent condenser microphone, form a reputable manufacturer, within budget. I never expected a magnificent sound from this mic. But my expectations were surpassed considering the sound derived form the C3000. To begin with, this mic is solidly built in Vienna, Austria and looks elegant in black metallic finish. I use it with m101 preamp and the sound is clear and upfront. Given the price, it delivers a well defined sound. I am pleased! 5 |

I have several of these wireless AKG Perception units (handheld, lapel and headset versions) and they all work superbly for my different needs. This is the first I have purchased from B&H and it is just like my others. B&H shipped the item very promptly and everything was as expected. The B&H price was better than my previous units, so I will return to B&H if I need any more. I'm very pleased with the AKG product and with B&H pricing and service. 5 |

I read a great review of these AKG Perception series mics, so with a bit of skepticism I ordered a pair for our college's media production program. We had few small capsule condensors for our students to try - and these are priced just right for experimantation. But since I've run comparisons with other mics in our fleet (Sennheisers, A-T, Sonys) I am bowled over by the low self-noise and great siound. They are a bit sensative to wind noise, so a wind screen is essential - but the P-170 is a very sweet sounding mic for vocals, piano or guitar. 5 |

I recently purchased this microphone (Akg p120) In hopes that I can get an nice decent recording for my songs. I saw the price it was listed at and Instantly had to buy. When I received it and recorded with it I was mind blown by the results, I got some really good crystal clear vocals and to this day I love it so much it’s one of my favorites ! 5 |

I use the A53M on a pair of classic AKG-414B-ULS studio condenser mikes that I purchased used. I tried AKG's current shock mount for the 414 series, and it simply did not provide as good shock isolation as the A53M. The small size is also a definite plus. 5 |

used for southern gospel group as vocal mics. bought to replace some old AKG condenser mics that had seen to many miles. these Sennheiser 856e will pull even the most timid singers out of the noise and make it possible to hear them. they sound great and very little problem with feed back. 5 |

I have always been a big fan of the AKG small capsule condenser microphones. Sounds amazing for drum overheads or acoustic guitar placed near the nut. 5 |

This is a really good condenser microphone regardless of price. I'm so happy with the sound and the quality of construction that I don't think I ever need to upgrade from this. I know there're better microphones out there, but you really need to pay much more to get marginal improvements over this one. 5 |

Great microphone in good price. I usually use it for the trumpet, and it has a warm sound which is unusual for the condenser microphones in this price range. It also allow me to record little details such as articulations and dainamics. 5 |
