I purchase this pedal because I have an e-drum kit that consists of equipment from 3 different brands. I use V-Drum mesh pads with an Alesis DM10 brain, Pro Rack, and a Yamaha DTX550 module running to Hart cymbals. The response from the Yamaha HiHat trigger is better and SOUNDS better than the Alesis, so I needed the controler for the DTX550 to work properly. 5 |

I have been using the Alesis drum products for about 15 years now and am quite impressed with the SR-18. The sounds and flexibility of the unit are phenomenal and the ease of operation should be emulated by other manufacturer's units. I use it for both live and studio applications and it has performed flawlessly in both environments. For the money, this is the best unit on the market in my opinion. 5 |
