Alexa Controlled Fireplace Switch

Switch looks fancy and works well with Alexa.

I'm very happy with this product It can be controlled by Alexa or manually. Weather updates and outlook are a great feature.

Best features for the price range. Easy installation, can be controlled by your phone app or with Alexa.

Nice an bright. I use it in a Lowell Flood got reception and interviews...controlled by a dimmer switch.

This slick little PoE switch is controlled by the UniFi management software (I'm using a CloudKey 2 controller), so I can visualize it on my network and run updates, etc. Note that there is not a PoE pass-through, even though the switch can be powered via PoE (or USB-C), it cannot provide power to any PoE device plugged into it.

We love this wi-fi light switch! We had looked at getting Wink hub and bulbs awhile ago but ended up not because the only way to turn the on or off was with our phones, and we didn't want that. We wanted the option to either use our phone or a switch. So after we had gotten an Amazon Echo Dot and stumbled across this Alexa-compatible switch, we took a chance on it. Installation was pretty straight-forward, pretty much the same as a regular light switch. Once I got in installed I set up an account and added this switch and it worked right off. I then got it set up to work with Alexa and since then we haven't used our phones with this once, we always just tell Alexa to turn it on or off or we physically hit the switch if we're over near it. We like how the switch is a physical switch that clicks and springs back and not just a touch pad. Maybe others feel different but we like the feel of a switch. We haven't yet tried it out when the wi-fi has been down so I'm curious to if the physical switch will still control the lights without wi-fi. Easy setup with HomeKit and Alexa. Plug works fast and has a manual switch in case of internet outage.

Just made the switch from Alexa to google and I love it. The set up is simple and the large screen is beautiful. Slowly but surely figuring out how to set up routines and commands, not difficult at all. Great integration with all the other Nest products and cameras.

Installed about 3 weeks. Installation was very simple. Quick tip, you’ll probably see a white wire in your wall not wired into your current “dumb” switch. That’s the neutral wire you need for this. After installing, the app setup was quick and painless. I’ve got it linked up to Alexa for voice control as well. So far, flawless experience. Very responsive. Control by voice with Alexa, use the actual switch or use the app. Doesn’t get any simpler. Actually ordered a couple more and will be putting this in through my house. Highly recommend.

TPLink's kasa has all features to schedule and remotely turn on/off my light switch. The integration with Alexa makes it more useable. Easy to install and setup on newer homes light switches.
