This thing is awesome! Does everything I need it to do. One thing to be aware of - it DOES come with a power supply, even though it's not listed in the What's In The Box list.

I didn't know what these were for when I bought it, I just bought what was on my class supply list. I think it was a little pricy, but it works great and I do like having different colored sides.

This a very complex beast that I've just started playing with. It looks and feels like a pro camera and I have no doubt for many purposes it could serve as such. I have not gotten further with my evaluation because the camera comes with almost no documentation and while some might find the menu system intuitive, I do not. I have finally managed to get a copy of Alexander White's guide which just became available. Attesting to the complexity of this camera and it's versatility, The guide is 269 letter sized pages. I am a nature and wildlife photographer with some professional exposure and a battery DSLR bodies and pro lenses. Most of my work is printed in sizes up to 20" X 36". In spite of it's 1" sensor, I fully expect this camera to replace all the DSLR equipment for most of my purposes. Looking at a few exposures printed on a small non-pro printer, I,m impressed. This is a very expensive camera and I can not imagine that it does not come with reasonable documentation especially given it's complexity. I would not be happy without Alexander Whites Guide.

How refreshing to find a company that actually does what you pay for.. The Fotodiox adapter allows me to mount lenses on my Pentax Q which give immense focal length due to the Q's crop factor. This is allowing me to enter the revered world of bird photography on a budget. My Sigma 500mm lens becomes a 2400mm lens. I watched this on Graham Barker and Graham Houghtons YouTube channel and they both used the Fotodiox adapter. And guess what? It works!

My first Glidecam purchase was the HD 4000 here on B&H 6 years ago. A great tool to have for any DSLR operator. I've been following Devin Graham for some time and knew he was testing a new prototype Glidecam. I purchased the Devin Graham Signature Series right after NAB. I was impressed with it right out of the box. It comes in a traveling case and all the needed slots for everything in the setup. Included in the case was a USB drive with a video by Devin giving a quick tutorial on how to balance the and operate the sled for those who don't know. The new quick release plate included also fits the Manfrotto heads. By far my favorite feature is the new adjustment knobs. The fact that you no longer have to loosen the 4 knobs just to adjust the level like you have to do on the HD 4000 is already a TREMENDOUS advantage. The weather tight gimbal is also a plus, knowing that it will hold up in the toughest conditions. We own a Movi in our studio, but I find myself coming back to the Glidecam time and time again for the sheer fact that it doesn't run on batteries. In the heat of the battle you need something that can take a beating and won't die on you during the most important shot of your career.

I've had the Devin Graham stabilizer for about 2 months now and I couldn't be happier with it! Of course with any stabilizer, you are going to have to put in the hours to understand the mechanics and get the balance perfect, but after a bit of practice you will have beautiful shots. This stabilizer really makes it easy for the user with features such as a quick release plate, moveable shaft, left/right and up/down adjustment knobs to get the perfect balance. I have previously used other stabilizer systems such as steadicam and nebula, but none of which are as affective as the Devin Graham. It comes with an instructional video that really helps you learn the proper way to maneuver your stabilizer to get the best shots possible. The price and product are both great and it was exactly what I was looking for. A lot of electronic stabilizer systems are unreliable in my opinion from personal experience, which is why I decided to go with a manual system. If you are unsure about what stabilizer to get, I would highly recommend this product. It's extremely useful and very versatile, just remember to put in the time to really understand the product so you get the most out of your shots. With a few short hours of practice you'll be on your way to capturing those beautiful shots you've been thinking about! 5 stars
