Synology is a very versatile server. It can act not just as a NAS, but as a Media Center, DNS server, DHCP server, FTP server, e-mail server, and so on, and so on. I am very pleased with its performance so far.

I bought this router to accommodate a web/minecraft/media server, constant online gaming, excessive video streaming, and three wireless access points (my house has metal lathe, which acts like a faraday cage). Was previously using some Netgear garbage home user Wi-Fi router that couldn't keep up with the demand and was awful to manage. This router is a breeze to manage if you have at least basic networking knowledge. The quality of my home network improved dramatically and allowed me to actually utilize every drop of the gigabit ethernet we pay for. I also appreciate Ubiquiti's detailed firmware upgrade logs. I would absolutely recommend this router to anyone looking to have fast, easily configurable internet at home, and I'm sure it would hold up well for a small business too.

Synology makes setting up this mesh router fairly simple. Power it on next to your router, use the DS router app and you're up and running in about 15 minutes. I have four of them and they are all wired. So make sure you follow the instructions and connect it wirelessly to the router first, then take it where you want on the network and plug it in. The ability to add a dozen of the MR2200's to my router means that I can create a reliable and fast wireless network that rivals my wired network in terms of square footage and then go beyond the building. My wireless devices automatically drop and connect as I move around. I could not be happier with this device because it is reliable and the range meets all my needs. I have no complaints from my network users.

Finding instructions for setting up the speakers to a new router was the only difficult part and connecting my play ones to a wireless connection. Other than this I have a play 5, two play 1's, beam, and boost for a surround sound which is very premium if not THE BEST speakers you can buy. I've owned products since 2016 and have not been disappointed since especially since the speakers and the app get updates!

It can hold my weight (169 LBS) and is shock absorbent. The 3 layer 1" x 1" pick-n-pluck foam works perfectly. This is an affordable solution to my needs.
