Alienware 13 External Monitor

I have this for my MacBook Pro 13. I have an external monitor, card reader, three external drives and for a while an ethernet cable to my router connected to it and everything works flawlessly.

If you want to connect your Mac Book or iPad with USBC to an external monitor, this is a must have. It works with my Mac Book Pro 13 and my iPad Pro 11.

I was thinking of getting myself an Ultra wide gaming monitor but always thought the 49" G9 was too big that's when Samsung released this with the same panel as in the Alienware OLED monitor that is getting rave reviews. The difference between this and the Alienware monitor is that this one comes with Samsung OS and is easy to connect to my other Samsung ecosystem products. This monitor is perfect to run Dex on or even can be used as a TV. The OLED panel is brilliant and the movies and games pop on it.

This arm is amazing! I purchased two different ones before this to support my new Alienware OLED monitor. Those arms could not support the weight even on the highest tension. This arm at half tension easily supports the weight. You can tell this one is made with a higher quality than any off brand product.

Comparing this to the Alienware AW3225QF (which I tested for 3 weeks before getting this monitor), I find the colors are effectively the same after you find the right settings that appeal to you. I initially had some text clarity issues, but this was solved by running the monitor at 240Hz. For whatever reason, a bunch of features are turned off by default, so you need to turn them on (e.g. OLEDcare, VRR, CEC). Another thing to keep in mind - when you switch to full-screen and back, the monitor will black out for a few seconds. This is normal and a function of Nvidia drivers, not the monitor. Another caveat, as this is OLED, you cannot calibrate this with standard monitor calibration gear (think SpyderX). After turning everything on and playing with all the presets, I was able to find the ones I liked for different media. The monitor is amazing. Great color, perfect blacks, I almost think it's blacker than my black monitor bezels... 240Hz is buttery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 34” G5 Odyssey Gaming Monitor replaced my Alienware 29 inch monitor, and I'm so glad that I did. The 34" G5 Odyssey has Deeper blacks and crisper picture than my old Alienware 25 gaming monitor. My games have never looked so good as on the 34"G5.

Excellent Monitor. I upgraded from an Alienware 240hz 1080p to this one. Got recommended by Hardware Unbox on YouTube. This is my first 1440p monitor. Resolution is crisp. no dead pixels. and gotta love that IPS color quality. Great so far. Would recommend.

This bag has proven to be a very practical day-bag, or travel companion. The rear external compartment comfortably holds my iPad and a couple magazines. The internal compartment is wide enough to hold a 13 MacBook Pro and some extras. But it is equally versatile as a camera bag: I can fit my 5D Mark II with a lens mounted, plus an additional mid-size lens in the included internal compartment. Batteries, lens wipes, pens, chargers, keys, etc. can fit comfortably in the front pouches. With the optional 3-compartment internal accessory, it will be perfect for when I switch to a Leica system later this year. The quality of the bag is excellent. The shoulder strap may dig in a bit when carrying around for several hours, but Zeiss glass for a 35mm system is not exactly lightweight. ;) I think I would have preferred a zipper on the external rear compartment to better secure my iPad, but it is also meant for magazines, and a zipper may interfere more than help for most people. My intended use of the bag, ultimately, is for a Leica M9 and assorted lenses, plus an iPad in the back pouch, and I think it will serve me well for trains as well are airlines. I would have liked to have a bit more padding around the bag in the event that a 13 laptop is used, but that would also compromise the feel and the size of the bag. Ultimately, I think this is about as good as I could have asked for.

I needed an extra USB C for my Dell XPS 13. Using this device I was able to connect my external monitor and hard drive. This is by far one of the best computer devices that I have ever bought, quality components and easy to setup.
